Hey Jason, great series so far. There sure are a lot of cool gizmos and gadgets out there these days. Watching this I feel like a kid in Toys R Us looking around.
I would literately pay cash money to see Mr. Bob back on this show in a old school workshop talking about the different electrodes. I swear I could watch him for hours on end...... Or even Tig Time... Now it seems its just about all commercialized and getting away from what this channel started as... I would bet 90 percent of the viewers dont have these "cool tools" to prep and weld with. It really doesnt do a newbie any good to talk about what to set up the said welder when all he's got is a basic run of the mill Lincoln and probably cant afford anything else .. doesnt matter if the newbie will ever be a welder or not. He's here to learn and this channel was here to help because he's trying.. I know this point could be argued but its just my opinion, right or wrong..
@Brandon S I gotta call BS on that man. Look, the robot is nothing more than a boat anchor without a highly skilled, and well versed welder with a tight grip on theory and technical knowledge. Now, do most welders have a strong base of advanced technical knowledge that allows them to know what will happen, why, when, where, and how? Certainly not. Do a lot of us have that? Yes, and we can make a lot more money when a business invests in this type of equipment and in the skilled personnel required to make it run like a top. I’m not saying this to dog you out or anything like that. I just want you to challenge yourself and think about it a little more. When these advanced machines are implemented, the need for very advanced welding professionals goes way up, because you won’t be able to skate by without a strong understanding of the science behind welding. This can show a company what it really takes to be a truly advanced welder. That makes us more valuable.
They’ll say “don’t watch the video then” because they don’t want to see hate in the comments. This really is the worst video they’ve done in a while because it’s the second video in a row showing how they’re promoting robots to take our jobs. It’ll be un sub worthy if they keep putting this mental shit out.
@wroger wroger why the fuck would i adapt to something i don’t even agree to in the first place this video if fucked it’s promoting robotics machine over an good person to make a pay chq you plug

@Peter Dixon this is a bunch of bs guys. Sorry, but here’s the thing you are all missing. Robots are worthless without highly skilled, highly knowledgeable welders to set every tiny component of the operation up, tweak things, correct the robot, correct the programs, constantly watch and evaluate, make changes, and keep things running the way only we know that they need to run. Who do you think this will replace? It won’t be those who truly know the craft, the science, and the art. It will be the ones who have no ability to adapt, don’t understand the science of welding, don’t understand the variables of the process, the ones who are just “rod burners” who only know how to do one thing but don’t have the knowledge to adapt when something goes wrong. With or without robots and advanced technology, the days of the rod burner who lacks the technical knowledge to support whatever skill they have are numbered. This is not anything new.
Third! I would probably refrain from calling anything a "recipe". No good comes from dumbing down an industry. Call it a program, or procedure, but not a recipe.
@Brandon S I'm a welder in school for computer science, maybe if you didn't limit yourself to one thing you could learn something new and adapt to changing times
@@mourgraine221100 This is really what it comes down to. Anyone who cares enough to expand and grow in their trade through technical knowledge has nothing to worry about. If you understand the science, you can adapt to any situation.
This just like retiring an accountant spending millions of dollars for a program to do their job then hiring more people to do the job one accountant did , then they wonder why their margins are worse.
@Peter Dixon poor countries to be a welder is a big thing productive countries the welder himself fed up root full and cap a joint he wants to go dubai and enjoy life let the robot get the job done

I think everyone watching would have liked to see the full pipe weld operation .🤠
I would love to see this out in the elements with -25 and 30 mile an hour wind chill with no cover, like a true welder; but still neat

Finally a video I could get through. No more Mancub talking shit he taught himself.
the future is now👍

Idk how that would work outside of a teaching setting, you can't always rotate pipe like that
I hope people that used that dont thing that they are welders. Lol 😆
That's The truth. They are computer operators.
haha, naw it's easy to tell a welder from a robot.....just look at their GRAMMAR !! :D jk jk jk..
Right, if you push all the right buttons, the root won't blow thru...?? not

I would say the first qualification that someone needs for this machine is computer skills, that leaves me out....
You can learn computer skills online easily

I can’t get over the guy saying Recipe lol....
The Machines will never put Quality welders out of work. Who’s going to press the button lol
