God, this game hurt my SOUL with that ending; the ending shot of Ouroboros desperately running to each other and reaching out in a futile attempt to stay with each other for as long as possible, it destroys me every time I see it… I’m actually getting super choked up thinking about it rn

Honestly the 2 first games made cry a lot as well, but this game made cry more than any other piece of media. Except Assassination Classroom, there i became a fountain.
Something interesting about the final cutscene is: While Noah is walking towards the offseer song and the paning shot zooms out... the moment the birds fly by, Noah is gone. He disappears.
oh yeah! I never noticed that for the longest time until someone else pointed it out in a live stream chat I was watching haha. Super cool detail but i'm still a little unsure what it even means 😂

Of course the blue light at the end of future redeemed will be answered in xenoblade 4, but where the fuck did Noah go? You probably missed it if you werent told afterwards, but he just... vanished. Origin reminds me of both Prison Island and the World Tree at the same time.
Yeah they def have some similarities!
the overall vibes seem more prison island, but the fact that it's technologically advanced makes it also very akin to the world tree
