Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying to, we have been very busy recently! If there is no wind, that is perfect! You can then throw in any direction and the Outdoor Booma should return to you. You may need to give it a bit more layover though (meaning when you hold it in your between your thumb and finger, you may want to hold it more towards 10° rather than between 2° and 5° as we usually suggest). Hopefully that has helped you, but if not feel free to leave us another comment!
Hi, Just as a note, that's nothing to do with ISO, it's to do with exposure. Agreed, the Sky is too bright, however the only choice would be to use a filter or as you say show more of the sky, thus making the landscape really dark. We shot the video at 60p 1880x720 and the Boomerang is very easily visible even against the sky, however TH-cam does not accept this and therefore lowers the quality/frame rate making it harder to see. If you view at 720p on a larger screen, you can see it better.
Just tried out mine, after around 10 throws and some minor adjustments (bending the arms, twisting the CCW to get that sweet uplift) it came back!!!! So much much fun, but man, my arm is BURNING!!!! CANT WAIT to get some more booma action tomorrow. Ps. Could you make more.of the indoor booma, I live in Hungary and I cant seem to find it anywhere retailers say its discontinued
Hi there, I've just purchased two Sonic Booma's with the whistles. I took one over my local field but it was dead calm with No wind. I gave the arms a little twist down to keep the flight low but I could not get the Boomerang to fully return. I did try a little twist to try a shorten the flight. My question is, do you need some wind to get a full return flight? I know there is a knack to throwing these and I'm throwing it vertically on release. Regards Paul.

I just bought a blue one, I’m left handed and no option for left handed throwers. Can’t throw right handed too good. Would be good if there was a left handed version.

Hi, Thanks for your comments, we agree that the Wicked Booma is a really great toy! Unfortunately due to the weight, there's no way to make it go further. You could try taping coins to the ends of the wings (over the holes on each wing) which should make it go further, but I'm not sure if it would reach 50m. Good luck and let us know how you get on!

You're right that many of the foam ones on the market don't work, but we guarantee our Indoor Booma (also made of foam) returns every time! They fly 4-6 metres and come back, so there are ones out there that work, but also a lot that don't.
Hi Jose, yes the Outdoor and Sonic are basically the same boomerang, but the Sonic has whistles in the ends of the wings. You do need to throw it quite hard and always give it a lot of spin. Check the video to see how hard our expert throws it and give it a go yourself.

Hi there and thanks for buying a Wicked Booma! It's hard to say exactly what's happening without seeing a video of your throw, but typically when the booma does this, it means you are tilting it too much to the side. Try to throw it a bit more vertically (but not fully vertical). You may feel like you're already throwing correctly, but from our experience people do tend to start their throw with the booma in the correct position but then as they move their arm forward to throw, they tilt it more towards the side like they're throwing a flying disc. Have a go and let us know if you have any success! Good luck!
you need to get your ISO setting right. and have more of the sky than the grass in your frame..because i don't think we can really see the boomerang in action till it's almost back into your hands.

Hi Jorge, because if you throw flat/horizontally, the booma will just go really high then crash to the floor, it won't go round it a circle as it's designed to do :)
Hi! There doesn't have to be wind, but it does help to bring the Booma back round if there's a light breeze. If there's no wind, the booma may go further so you should check our other video on tuning for shorter flights. Good luck!

FIrstly you will need to throw it a bit harder, secondly you should use more layover (1:07 in the video, point number 3 on the back of the packaging) meaning it should be less vertical and leaning slightly more than in the video. Hi there. Aussie Boomas are thrown the same way as the Outdoor Booma - just make sure you are aiming the V shape AWAY from you, so open side is thrown into the wind. Hopefully that makes sense, good luck!
