Sephiroth is my 2nd fave character to play now! I didn’t think I would get this challenge so soon, but I’m very happy to be done with this! 😁 It wasn’t safe to do the Azumgi strat for round 4 on a No damage run. Can be inconsistent if Sea Dragon backs you into a wall. So I had to keep it safe and the spin strat. The only hard round for me was Alexander. I decided to save my limit in phase 2 to avoid light pillar damage, but it’s still kind of risky, as you saw here I had to quickly get that last hit on him before those light pillars exploded. Also for Phoenix, I found a way to make it consistent dealing with him. And before I optimized this he was ruining all my practice runs because he would always do Rebirth as soon as he woke up from Stagger. What I did was, stagger him BEFORE he goes to the center. That way, he won’t do insta Rebirth as soon as he wakes up. Giving you time to do limit and few hits. I got tired of all my no damage practice runs being ruined by Phoenix sometimes doing insta rebirth. But as soon as I learned to stagger him away from the center, the run became more fun 😎 Hope that helps anyone that tries this!

Also your Parry’s were just incredible, you’ve mastered every move set and it shows with the incredible consistency of Parry’s you were performing. I'm getting ready to do my hard mode run of Rebirth and because I was terrible at picking up the mechanics of Rebirth at the start, I'm not sure what all lines are Sephiroth's and what may have been modified for your version (like, it took until the Rufus fight in the Golden Saucer and looking up help for the fight to learn that Cloud can do an energy blast with his sword, thus allowing me to gain the ATB I needed without getting close to Rufus 😂. That's over halfway through the frickin game!) When Sephiroth does his limit break and says "Let's finish this", which is Cloud's line with his limit, is that actually what Sephiroth says (thus yet again, linking him to Cloud) or did you use Cloud's line and modified Sephiroth's voice over it? Also...I've never heard of this mission (I'm assuming it's something Chadley provides and I've not unlocked it yet). Can you actually play with Sephiroth during this or is that again the perks of modding? 😅
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley Firstly, I’m playing on PS5, not PC. I’m not modifying or using mods on anything. All the voice lines you hear is actual voice lines in the game, I’m not modifying voices. Because once you beat story gilgamesh you can never replay it (unless you have a save file from before the fight).

Round 1, Titan, this round used to be annoying bc I didn’t know about the fast kill. Sounddreamer told me how to defeat him fast, so this fight became less of chore after I learned. 😁 Round 2, very easy like Round 1. I began to learn exactly when he does furious blows so I was able to be ready for it. Round 3. Used to be the worst and the place that ruined many practice runs. Only bc Phoenix would do Rebirth insta (sometimes) after waking up from stagger. But once I optimized it to stagger him away from the center, this fight became way more chill 😎 and consistent with this strat! Round 4, can also be a run killer. Because sometimes if you’re spinning in front of him, he will suddenly jump on you lol. Round 5, easy but Kujata health pool makes it a marathon lol. Round 6, easy! Round 7, THIS IS THE HARDEST FOR ME LOL. Only bc of phase 2 with the light pillars. Saving limit helped a lot haha. Round 8, King Zu was easy once I learned to make sure you stay away from his swan song after his first stagger. Some practice runs I would get hit there and then learned to just keep distance. And then Bahamut and Odin, these were some of the easiest for me. BUT, due to nerves for trying to no damage this entire thing, they still had me very nervous 😅 but not as bad as earlier rounds. So in the end, I would say the most trouble for me was Alexander . I won’t say Phoenix bc after I optimized the strat to stagger him away from the center, his fight them became free and easy! 😎 on a overall scale of this challenge run difficulty, it’s one of the hardest I’ve done! Especially because you can feel very nervous in the last 2 rounds haha
@@RE_Prince_Vegeta That's interesting. 🤔There are some rounds that I find difficult initially just like you. Such as rounds 1-4. Maybe because of our differences in play styles, we find different rounds more difficult. Like, Alexander wasn't the round killer for me since I guess I know how to approach him after playing many hours of the game. Bahamut, I don't think I'll ever get used to fighting him 😅. I don't play in the air too often so it makes the fight a lot harder. The particles, his sudden moves like his laser and kicks along with his transformations being RNG/time sensitive is very hard for me. Did you know that you can dodge the particle explosion btw if you time it properly? I didn't know that it was possible until a few days ago but it is very hard to do.
@ It’s very fun and interesting to hear the difference in round difficulties for others! I think another reason why Alexander was so difficult for me, (aside from just not having the best optimization for him) was I just get very very veryyyyy nervous in the later rounds 😅 I had to literally tell myself to stay calm when I get to Alexander and the late rounds haha. Bahamut for me, due to air combat and other no damage runs I already done with him, was easy! But again, just the nerves of trying to no damage everything can catch up to you. And I didn’t know about the particle immune dodge, that is so cool! I wonder if that means other characters can maybe parry it? (Kind of like parrying Bio ? )
@@Fennekin-wl8ul btw, when I was doing practice runs before, I had one run where I got hit only once by Odin phase 2.
