You really use your SOLDIER moves against Abuz and plus I don't how you manage to survive that part (0:15), but I'm surprise you didn't got any scratch on you, overall, good job. 😁👍
I'm getting ready to do my hard mode run of Rebirth and because I was terrible at picking up the mechanics of Rebirth at the start, I'm not sure what all lines are Sephiroth's and what may have been modified for your version (like, it took until the Rufus fight in the Golden Saucer and looking up help for the fight to learn that Cloud can do an energy blast with his sword, thus allowing me to gain the ATB I needed without getting close to Rufus 😂. That's over halfway through the frickin game!) When Sephiroth does his limit break and says "Let's finish this", which is Cloud's line with his limit, is that actually what Sephiroth says (thus yet again, linking him to Cloud) or did you use Cloud's line and modified Sephiroth's voice over it? Also...I've never heard of this mission (I'm assuming it's something Chadley provides and I've not unlocked it yet). Can you actually play with Sephiroth during this or is that again the perks of modding? 😅
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley Firstly, I’m playing on PS5, not PC. I’m not modifying or using mods on anything. All the voice lines you hear is actual voice lines in the game, I’m not modifying voices. As for this challenge, it’s not a mod bc I don’t use mods and I can’t even use mods on PS5. You can unlock this from Chadley after finishing the protorelic sub stories! 😁 but make sure to keep a save file for before you fight gilgamesh. Because once you beat story gilgamesh you can never replay it (unless you have a save file from before the fight).

Question, but why/ what makes blizzard a better option to use for staggering, than the actual element the enemy is weak to? This applies to both game. Like in the Weiss fight, some will use elemental ice. Does it just do more dmg/stagger in general? Is it because it has to sort of pause before the impact? Why not just use wind of that’s the case? Would really appreciate an answer, of any size.
@@magicsagges3786 it’s bc of how much stagger it builds. so it’s always the better choice, even over enemy weakness. It was the same in remake part 1, the stagger bar increases a lot with blizzaga! It seems intentional in design if it works in both games

@@magicsagges3786 All the elements have different properties. Blizzaga does the most stagger damage, Lightning is Guaranteed to hit and is the fastest, Aero will bring enemies towards you (and I believe has the most AoE but I’m not sure). Fire seems to do the most damage normally

I find the ability to use the shortcuts of a character you’re not currently controlling to be really hard sometimes, but you make it look so easy, and I thought I was really good at this game 😭😅

I did not know that Rage and Fall builds a stagger meter so fast 😲. That's very impressive. A Legendary Bout with a no materia run seems like it requires a lot of patience but you made Tifa's seem like fun 🙂

I don't think a Legendary Bout could be harder than doing a no damage run in Bonds of Friendship or To Be a Hero (with Cloud or Sephiroth). I'd like to do more of them myself since I only have like Yuffie, Barret, Red XIII and Cait Sith (I don't see myself ever getting to this one 😂) but I need to play more of them after I take a break from Rebirth to avoid burning out again.
@ No damaging the legendary bout’s was one of the most fun challenge run experiences I had, brings back good memories, I think you will enjoy it 😁 Cait Sith one was one of my faves 🤣 with his funny OST playing too lol. For burn out I try to play something else / do something else. The worst feeling is forcing yourself to work on challenge runs 😅

@@squall846 Thank you Legend! ☺️Yup kept it safe in phase 2, that enemy can do some funny attacks sometimes haha. The Rage and Fall + Omniflurry stagger build also helped me a lot in my Tifa vs Red Dragon no materia no damage run!! Thanks again, this was a very fun challenge. The Sephiroth to be a hero no damage helped me not be nervous for this challenge. I guess 10 grueling no damage rounds of that was my anime training arch to no longer be nervous for lesser rounds ☺️
