Awww man...i installed these on my C63 last week, and couldn't figure out how to wire the white light since my mirrors weren't motorized. I was thinking of wiring it to the puddle lights by tapping into the actual wires but it looked too challenging and too much hassle to do it that way since the wires were tucked in the actual mirror itself. This is a life saver! Thanks Flexx! That light up sequence for the white light is pretty cool!
Hey Reggie, I just installed mines onto my w204 and tapped the wire onto my puddle light socket but the sequence isn’t working. I know I didn’t short out the puddle lights because the bulbs themselves are working and the turn signals are too. You have any tips on connecting the sequence wire?

Did it on my 14 E class W212 for those who wants to know it’s a bit different since the LED bulb does not come out, you have to place the wire in the plug itself which is very simple I love it so far.

Installed these on my 2013 C350 4-Matic Coupe and they are definitely an upgrade from factory. They work perfectly and it was an easy install on the main lights themselves. The shipping from DMP was only like 3 days from Asia and DHL was spot on with their delivery. However, I will warn you, the puddle lights will be a bit tricky to get out and back in once the wire is in the bulb socket. The area is tight and there is not a lot of room to work on them. Make sure you seal it properly. I would recommend Flexx to show this step a bit slower just in case.
One of my side mirror lights need to be replaced anyway (2 years not working properly) so well this is really cool gonna order them and install them soon. Greetings from Germany, keep up the good and cool modding ;)

One note if you hook it up to the power for the folding mirrors the white light only comes on for a second as the power only transmits when they open. Whereas if you connect to the puddle light it has power and stays on as long as the puddle light. Side note my puddle light have washers so impossible to force in, had to connect to the cable directly and solder on
Noel Mc G very true I installed my lights yesterday and I ran it to the power mirror wire and noticed it stayed in for a second as well so I didn’t bother connecting them thinking that it was a defective light. Now I know it’s no just me with this issue

Maybe a dumb question, but I tried wiring these to the puddle lights and the rubber seal around the bulb made it impossible to fit the wire in like you did in the video. Is it possible to use a wire tap on one of the puddle light wires? Or any other ideas?
I don’t like tapping into the wires I heard it weaken them and I plan on keeping my car for a good amount of time don’t want problems down the road but it sure hell looks amazing 😭.

Also emergency brake can't be released. What could be the problem?
You don’t need power mirrors. You just need the puddle lights to tap into just like how I clearly show in the video. If you don’t have puddle lights below the mirror, then you need to Go watch my other video on it. I did a whole video on how to do it. It’s not easy.
@@WhoIsImmane He has another video about switching out the puddle light bulbs, and from that (and my own struggles) those bulbs are really tough to get back into their housing. If you haven't already gotten it back in, keep trying to grip them with some needle nose pliers and really jam it back in. It's like a gasket around a pipe -- just needs some elbow grease.

W204 is not a model, it’s a platform. All c-class models between 2008-2014 is considered a w204 (c250, c300, c350c c63, etc) and the coupes are considered a c204.
@@TheFlexxGarage so in other words my 2014 c300 is a w204. From all the photos I have seen it appears to be. So I should be safe to order the Dynamic White turn signal lights, and when it says please write year and model I should put 2014 C300 sedan sport. I have the round puddle lights....

I check the vendor link but they don't have that cool turn signals for my year make and model. Only goes up to 2015. Oh well...perhaps they will carry it in the future. Nice mod though.
Got a question about the lights., I installed the blues on my car and some new puddle lights, they were working fine but I have to unplug my battery because I had to change my fuel filter, and now they're not working only the yellow light when I unlock him like the vehicle not even the puddle lights come on. Any idea why they're not working. I checked the wires and they still splugged in. The blue and the puddle lights are not coming.
I ordered these dynamic lights for my GLA250. Mine doesn't have motorized mirrors or puddle lights. So I tapped into a 12V source in the door panel. But there is a problem. The white startup lights come on after every turn signal use on the road. How can I fix that? I disconnected them for now until I find a fix. It is kind of annoying to signal right and then the white light comes on after the turn for that one mirror.

I have tried 3 different versions of these, on 2 different Mercs - one from 2013, and the other from 2016. I also tried them with a bench rig, using an old school flasher can from the 90's, and all worked fine. On the Mercs, they all gave error messages about bulb failure. None of them lit all of the LED's in the strip (only about 80% of them at most). 2 of the 3 versions also caused the other bulbs to stop working - either the front, the rear, or both. I tried all sorts of series resistors, and other 'Canbus Fixes', but never got them working correctly. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution?
Not sure where you’re getting your part or which Benz you installing them on but I’ve done it 2-3 times on 5 different c-class cars (friends and family) and the DMP Car Design US spec version all worked flawlessly.
Hello. I installed this dynamic lights following the instructions and connecting them to the puddle light socket as he explained. Lights worked last night. Then this morning Stopped working. Puddle lights are no longer turning on. Turning lights are working fine but the white lights are not turning on at all. I tried using the older turning lights and another bulb with no luck. Any ideas? I have a C250 2014 sport Sedan.

Did this today. You may need to remove the bottom half to get a good work area to get the wire into the socket or just tap the wire at that point

Noël Mc G exactly the same with my A45 amg w176 (2014). Problem is the puddle light are on only in the dark

Hey when you removed the cap off the mirror was there any wire to remove from the stock led blinker ? I noticed u pulled the cap staright off.

Flex, I don't have puddle lights, nor motorized side mirrors on my 2010 c300. So my guess is I won't have an option for a startup light capability.

Puddle lights only come on at night. Meaning whatever light to tap to it will do that same.

It’s was a bit hard for me too, but I got some long 45 degree angled needle nose pliers and I was able to get it.

Just contact DMP directly. They’ll have it.
No MB here.. but I do think that was a cool quick little mod. Leave the dancing lights out though.

Just use either method as he explained. You can tap in to the power source on either the puddle lights or folding mechanism.

That’s the way it is cause your stock puddle lights only come on at night and that’s where you tapped for power to the signal lights.
