Brilliant!! Heavy machines and constructions in the middle of heavy traffic for 4 years! Jeopardizing people's safety! Malaysia style, everything can..
I believe this is just a rendering with some details which is still missing, but i guess the safety would be a key factor in building such large projects. They would not want to risk having casualty to the public as it will jeopardize a lot of things .
Agree, expertise from Singapore, Japan, Korea and German are hired for supervising mega project as we seen before on LRTs and SMART tunnel. However there is no guarantee that this project will go on smoothly. Even prestigious country like Singapore couldn't avoid the chance of tunnel collapse (Nicoll Highway Incident) during construction phase so lets just cross finger and pray everything is go on course.
Why is there no safety wall and netting? Why only just plastic barricades.. Is that adequate in ensuring the safety of motorist and construction workers?
Why need safety net when everything is prefabricated then assemble into place. Believe it or not, using other type of barricades (Concrete or Steel) then plastic can cause even greater problem on road accident as you already know the driving attitude in Malaysia. Furthermore, removing heavy barricades can cost more money and require more human power on supervising the site.
my dad worked on this project, he oversaw the concrete used for the elevated viaducts. he said the viaducts are so stable to the point where only one column is more than enough
Well is they are going to add another lane for the duration of the construction it should not be too much of an inconvenience, also there is not much to see from windows in a subway and they are more expensive to build and maintain too.

Looks Like EDSA But CounterFlowing LRT 1 North Edsa Extension (I Almost Taught It Will Be An Another Elevated Expressway 😂😂)
Terbaik..
wouldnt a subway be more practical, less disruptive, and more time efficient?
Well is they are going to add another lane for the duration of the construction it should not be too much of an inconvenience, also there is not much to see from windows in a subway and they are more expensive to build and maintain too.
Subway is only practical if the road is too narrow to have elevated railways/skyways. Digging underground is much more costly.
This is happening in the Philippines
Meanwhile in Manila: N a r r o w r o a d s
