I having been purging scrapbook supplies to 3 granddaughters who are 10,13 and 14 I have had so much fun going through things for them and I haven’t made a dent in my scrapbooking.. I will never miss it I have so much .
I think the thing I love most about the way you organize is it’s ALL budget friendly. The things you use don’t don’t break the bank but are very effective. I love those little crates you use for several different things. I have a bunch of them hanging out waiting for me to fill them up. I also love my carts. I have 3 of them and wouldn’t be able to live without them. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us, but more than that thank you for joining this hop. Your way of organizing would be so great for people new to their craft. I think we all can remember when we first started. We didn’t want to spend all our money on storage but rather spend it on paper and embellishments. I love this hop and am very grateful that Karen started it. I have learned so much from all you ladies ❤
Oh what a amazing comment, I am honored. I am cheap lol but in a good way. :) I will spend money on a few big things like my carts but then yes indeed you betcha I will budget shop for sure. Ty so much for the kind words and for taking the time to comment. :)
Good Tuesday morning, April 23. Just found Ginger's Corner. I enjoy creating cards/journals . I don't consider myself a pro. I don't sell my things. I give them as gifts. I enjoyed your video, organizing scraps. I like how you do it. I would love to have a clean desk. I'm in Texas, and our Tuesday Mornings have been closed. Now, I shop from my home store. I go through what I have and use it up. You inspired me. Thank you for sharing.
Hi there Rosarie. I am so honored you took the time to comment and your here hanging out with me. My Tuesday Morning here is still open but its not that great for scrappy goodies no more :( .... I shop online more than anything. I hope you will join me again soon and ty so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
Thank you for this video. I'm glad to know I'm not alone in having several ways that I organize my scraps. I also treat my 6x6 and 6x8 papers as "scraps" so that I can get them used. I call any paper that isn't a full 12x12 a "scrap" and that helps me to organize the papers. I also have a bin of tiny scraps that I use for punching and die cutting. The way I organize my larger scraps is by what I call "next use." I ask how I will most likely use the scrap next and put it with papers like that. I have 3 categories: (1) kit builders - usually my larger pieces and most of them are still 12" on at least one side; (2) cut-up (papers I use for die cutting or punching); and (3) white side - for my single sided papers to be used for stamping or journaling spots on the not patterned size. So, I have three large plastic sleeves, one for each category. Sometimes a piece of paper will go from group 1 to 2 to 3 before it is fully used. This method has helped me to use my scraps so much faster because I look first in these sleeves. When I feel like the scraps are growing too much, I will pull some out to make base pages which often get completed with photos rather quickly.
I love it! I hope others take the time to read this comment. So many great ways to organize. I am with you, I use my scraps since I took the time to organize them in a way that works for me. Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and hang out with me. I hope your inspired.
Hi Ginger. This is the second time that I've watched your video. Thanks for the idea of organizing smaller scraps. I have a drawer unit that sits on my desk which holds my smaller scraps. The drawer that holds white and craft-colored scraps is full. I’m going to try putting the smaller-size scraps in a container like yours. I have a few of those Walmart/Dollar Tree crate bins. Thanks for sharing.
So then hoarding is wrong?? Bummer! I like how you do your scraps. Mine need to be color organized. They use to be bit need redone. Goal for January. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome!! I can't wait to get to know ya. Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and hang out with me. I hope your inspired.

Since I’ve started making gnomes, I started buying 6 x 6 paper pads…don’t have a lot, but I have a file box & that’s where my 6 x 6 pads stay.
What a great way to keep them. Love it
Great ideas, going to definitely do
Please do! I hope you enjoy. Thanks so much! So kind of you.
Ginger, excellent video. Thanks for all the tips regarding scraps. Have a blessed day.

Great ideas. I ever thought to cut my scraps down to 6x6 for die cutting. Hmmmm… the ideas are forming 😂
I love them for dies in that size. Thank you for watching.
Loved seeing your process, I just did the same thing with my 6x6 pads and I am loving it!! My bestie likes a more “creative” desk too ☺️😂 TFS 🤗
