Thanks for this video it’s interesting. We just did a day trip to tilbury fort so I’m looking up about the area and we drove past the big factory so it’s interesting to know a little bit of history about it. 👍🏼
I actually worked in “monoplax at bata’s”..east tilbury, i was 17 yrs old when i started, til 1997 then i left to have my baby.. ive lived in tilbury 50 yrs this year

Havering has gone flat mad - nearly 1000 flats are to built on the site of the old Ice Rink, and at the other end of the scale, two shops (a travel agency and a sweetshop) have been demolished and SIX "luxury" flats are replacing them opposite Harold Wood Station. In the past five years we have had two major floods in my area (and my home got flooded twice). In part this is due to the idiot Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan who has commanded that all parts of London (including very out of London) build more homes. If Livingstone and Boris were a disaster Khan is a dozen times worse than both. The only thing to have increased in London under his reign has been knife crime.
Everything is better in smaller towns. Life is good there. Cleaner, more affordable, and lots more community togetherness, always something going on. You can always go into the city for something different but who the hell want to live in one of those hell holes now a days? Nice video Rusty.
You’re right but I’m afraid to say this town is far from nice, it’s an extremely rough place lol you’ll see in tomorrow’s video :)
