I've been mixing and recording country artists for damn near a decade and his music stands so much on it's own merit that I had no clue he was also an incredible actor. 1,000 miles from nowhere, guitars and cadillacs, fast as you, so many hits! Definition of a multi-talented Country legend!
Dwight is a great guy. He played Waco, New Braunfels, Austin & a lot of smaller venues in Texas & always drew a huge crowd. Should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame !!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Doyle Hargraves was the most level headed character in the movie,,, everybody around him was crazy and their insanity was so obvious to Doyle that it drove him to lose his temper sometimes BUT only because he was right 💯
When he said it was a relief, and that it was easy to be mean, he could relate to the character and pull those traits out easily. I find that very respectful. He was so good in the role, I couldn’t believe it was Dwight when I found out who Dwight Yoakam was.
Originally i recognized him but couldn't see Dwight and when i finally got my finger on it that Doyle was actually Dwight yoakum I had my mind blown wasn't even my guess but instantly said that was amazing but i reckon the same could be said about that other fella mmmhmmm
It does seem hard to find, but if you still have a DVD player (it's hard to believe those too are old school now) there are several compiles on eBay. Maybe someone will take a best offer. Beware some that seem cheaper have steep shipping costs. It may be more effort and money than you wanted to invest, but off hand, it was one place I could find it.
