Hey Tim, I just wanted to ask, what microphone do you use for all of these videos? I really wanna get into singing commissions for others but I obviously need a proper microphone first. I was hoping you could help me out!
How do you manage to hold your breath for 30+ seconds? For example, the post at the end of Go The Distance (at the beginning of the Daily Doug interview) was measured to be about 35.1 seconds!
Listening to your videos in a stressful situation like I’m in right now brings me such relaxation! They let me breathe, even while they take my breath away!
I keep coming back to this one, even after the holidays. m35-m36 is absolutely transcendent arranging from Waesche-one of my favorite barbershop phrases ever. And there's a little something I can't pin down about this chested high 3rd that puts it among the most magical of your large collection of perfect chested high 3rds. I could listen to the last 45 seconds of this 100 times in a row every day and never get tired of it.
O.M.G. Tim. U did it again!!!...the bass in the beginning, the long tones at the end...wowsers 💞. Thank u so much for sharing your incredible talent ‼️
Wow!!! I love this!! Just beautiful!!! You never cease to amaze me Tim. I can remember when you weren't even two years old (probably around 18 months) helping me sing Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer IN TUNE!!! I knew then you were destined to sing!!! Love you and so thankful for you!!
My Quartet currently has this song in our rep. I love singing the song with that high tag, but listening to it from such an amazing vocalist such as yourself is even better!
Tears, Tim! My Dad's very favorite. If I was practicing piano downstairs, I would hear the door creak open at the top of the steps. Always signaled time to pull out the Reader's Digest anthology and accompany his lead voice. Toyland was always on his "setlist". Thank you for this beautiful memory.
I absolutely adore the fact you release these on Tuesday. I keet with a barbershop choir every Monday and I'm always excited when I remember you release a new tag the very next day. Keep it up, Tim. The barbershop community loves you!
Fantastic as always wow. I felt being a little kid on Christmas again and then I felt the bittersweet realization that those times aren’t coming back all in the window of this video. Gonna be thinking about all that emotion all night during chorus! Thanks for everything you do Tim!
Yet again another perfect example of making what's printed on the paper come to life and in such abundance! Ed would be proud and honored! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Well done, Tim. This is a VM favorite. We actually competed at District contest one year with this as our ballad. And, we'll be singing it on our Christmas shows next weekend.
Hey Tim, any chance we could get a Smile tag? Been enjoying some old Ringmasters recordings of it lately and was wondering what your individual take on it would be. Thanks!
@@rayk998 Bass is on A3 for that word. Lead (below the bass for this note) is on D3. The sung notes match the written ones. The only F is the F♯4 in the tenor line.

Awesome. I remember singing that with the Harmonizers many years ago. (Not quite that well I'm sure. Thanks.)

That chord at 1:33! My heart! This isn't even one of the Christmas songs I like all that well, and you just made it so gorgeous. Fantastic!!

My goodness
Tim, thanks so much for honoring one of the best arrangers of all time! Brought tears to my eyes. You are awesome!
Running out of adjectives...such an great tempo and pace to this...had me just hanging on each note...
You are magical, Tim 💖
Thanks so much, Megan!!
Hey Tim, any chance we could get a Smile tag? Been enjoying some old Ringmasters recordings of it lately and was wondering what your individual take on it would be.
Thanks!
At "Borders, you can", I think what you sang isn't the same as note that is written. The time is around 1:00.
Awesome as usual 😊
Thank you!!
🥰🤩
Found this one early! Another great rendition, bro!
Thank you!!
In a computer aided competition, your one man wuartet would win hands down.
Hey Tim! Do you have any tips on how to eliminate that low morning voice?
f*ck me, that's good. Thanks!!
I play with toys every day. They're just made of concrete and rebar.
You got a good tags# for this?
You started at measure 19. Just sing the whole song!
First?
I think so!
Tim, measure 32 on the word "can" is an F note written but you sing a D. Is the arrangement incorrect?
which voice part are you talking about?
@@Paul_K_ Bass
@@rayk998 Bass is on A3 for that word. Lead (below the bass for this note) is on D3. The sung notes match the written ones. The only F is the F♯4 in the tenor line.
