Hello, please, do you have for sprinter 2005, 4 bolts that hold the steering rack and 1 of the four bolts that holds the front shock absorber, I want to buy.
Good evening. The video is extremely helpful for me. I am new to the expediting business and need some advice. I use a 2014 Mercedes sprinter for the first and only contract. The job I have has a daily pay rate of $220/day for 350 to a little north of 400 miles per day delivering auto parts and checks. That converts to 63 cents and 55 cpm at 400 miles. The more I’ve been researching that seems pretty low considering the vehicle I’m using, the area (Dallas and East Texas). Therefore, I’m looking for specific advice. 1. How do I determine what I should be charging per mile in order to determine my daily pay? 2. How do I get involved with driving OTR with my Sprinter? Any advise on these items would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
+Shon Coleman yes I can help you figure this out, I will make an actual video on this, because it’s a big subject, but here are some pointers, I did local delivery’s to, and you can’t charge per mile for local delivery’s, if you have allot of stops, then you need to charge for every stop, I charge $200 to $300 for local delivery sometimes $100, so here’s an example I charge $100 for about 15 To 30 miles, $200 for about 100 miles and 300 for 150 To 200 miles, but if you have lots of stops let’s say checks then you might need charge $5 to $20 per stop depending on the distance of the stop, here’s and example let’s say you got a stop every 5 miles or less then charge $3 to $5 for that stop, but if Stops are all over the place, and you need to drive all over then refute our how many hrs it will take you, then figure out your hr rate, for new van like yours, I say $30 buck per hr minimum I would charge as much as $50 per hr, it might seem allot but really your just scratching the surface, $100 per delivery is about right in my book, some delivery’s are hot and must get there, your doing a service and it also cost you money, let me make this one example, how much do mechanics charge for there time? So charge $30 per hr some charge $50 but you got some charging $150 per hr give or take, so let’s say your the mechanic, what do you need to open up shop, you need a garage location so that’s you buying or renting a sprinter, then you need Garage Insurence, you also need Insurence for Sprinter, both of this Insurence’s are expensive, so mechanic needs tools to do his work, you need fuel to do yours, it will cost about $20k per year in fuel if you do expediting, it cost about $2k per month, so then you need to invest time to make delivery and so does mechanic, basically both are providing a service and trust me not everyone wants to be a driver and not everyone wants to be a mechanic, so figure out what your worth per hr and then look at all the stops per day and then per week add it all up then divide days into hrs and figure out what that number is, for me it’s $2500 per week or more so $500 per day
great story.im really liking the videos being put out. the rates some of these drivers are driving for is so low i dont know how they survive and make a profit.
+Da305Alive thanks so much for watching and liking my videos, I am trying hard to raise the bar and make better video, also to post every day that my goals, I like helping people and answering any questions that they may have, Yes some people drive for such low rates, and it sucks because, they just won't survive, not to mention have a good life style, I hope that some of does people watch my videos and realize that they don't need to drive this cheep just to get a load, just drive for .80 to $1.00 per mile, I still see some guys get $1.05 to 1.10 because they are smart about it and get payed what they are worth, if we all can just set a price and stick to it, we all would be better off
Can you make a video stating what all I need to start do I need DOT.. how to find a great company to run for also is it a good idea to use a rental 24ft box truck for local loads I’m also in South Carolina
You’re welcome Jeff thanks so much for thinking I’m a professor 👨🏫 I never thought of myself as one but I enjoy sharing what I know but also learning something new every day
Should I buyor lease a box truck . Ive been in warehouse shipping and receiving almost my whole life and I saw a company that does same day shipping for flat rates imah try to take that same model and start it is it worth , I've calculates everything leasing, Insurance, but what I don't know is the California part of it, the license the commercial insurance, do I need business insurance, is the commercial insurance only for the thing your transportating and have to get another insurance for the car etc
You just need comical insurance, as far as box truck lease or buy, if you can buy it for cash then buy it, but to take out a loan on a box truck is up to you, leasing might be better option, until you really can calculate your income and have all your number and actually see for your self what’s right for you
@@ZimaletaMotors thanks for the reply, I always thought leasing would be better because you don't have to worry to much if it breaks down or for maintenance because most of the time maintenance is included in lease and if the box truck doesn't work for whatever reason Theyll replace it. Because if you don't know trucks to well the very thing that happened with that guy that left the country after selling you that truck that didn't work might happen to me, one other question do you ever transport full pallets if so how many per week
About .80 to $1.00 per mile and 2500 miles per week that’s what everyone hopes for but the outcome is always different, some weeks you make good money and some you don’t make anything, it’s getting worse, so getting in this business I don’t recommend going into debt, but if you own a van for cash you will make it
ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING That after all expenses ill get .80 to a $1 or this is the price from the broker .80-$1 and you have to pay gas tolls food from those .80-$1
If I was my own business and I had dispatch and over head I would charge more then $1.00 per mile, allot more, because I have overhead, but working for a company I get payed .80 per mile, but that’s just what that company pays no more no less, but it should be .80 plus fuel surcharge .20 so about $1.00 per mile to owner operator
+Ali Soud hello, I actually have some videos with cargo area were posted about a month ago, it still looks same when I built tool boxes in the channel add video, other then that no changes, but I am thinking of adding an Espar heater so I will make a video on that when I do, also I wanted to let you know, I am working on a new series Home remodeling and Renovating and real estate investing, I bought a 13k home and rebuilding everything to make it livable and modern floor plan, updating electrical and plumbing, I will be putting out a sneak peek video soon, like within a week, explaining what I am doing, and providing a link to that channel so that Sprinter and expedite videos will be separate
Good question but believe it or not it’s all in my Expedite playlist on my main TH-cam page, but getting ready to make more videos on it, let me know if you got any questions
I have lots of videos that will help you in Expedite play list, but if you have questions about it let me know, also I just made podcasts that will explain this business even more
To the industry is there a website or something I can get massive information on to learn the basic of the business.. I'm moving to Central Florida and I would like to provide an income for me and my family and I enjoy traveling and driving. Please respond anyone
ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING I would like to know. I would like to move to Orlando Florida to be with my family how do I get started in the logistics business do you have a company that you recommend, What sprinter do you recommend motor and size and brand, How should I outfit my Van as far as accessories or what equipment will I need ,how much should I request per mile and how do I require loads you didn't explain that in a video. Also is there a slow period in expecting with a sprinter?
+Nigel Danclar thanks for this question I will make a video for you on this you bring on some really good points, but speaking of Florida, commercial Insurence is very expensive there, I was going to live there to and that was a deal breaker, plus it’s really hard to get loads out of Florida, everything else I will explain in the video
Can you please tell me that if a person who doesn't know about anything about expedite n things can start with one cargo van in 2018 n still Can make enough money? Are the City loads good too?? Waiting for your review plssss
ZIMALETA HOW TO SHOW & UNBOXING thinking about used. But going to check out some new cargo vans too. Just getting into it so not sure what to look for with each yet.
U can't not pay your drivers because u lost some money it doesn't matter if it's the driver's fault or not that's part of running your own company. If that had been me I'm sorry I would've not even answered your phone calls and drove thd sprinter all the way back to your home terminal and then we would've fought when I got there and u better had hoped u didn't loose cause I'd go in your pocket and get my money plus a little extra for my troubles
Get a van, Insurence and a company and your good to go, if you want actual step by step information it’s in my Expedite playlist on front page of my channel
Thanks buddy but you said it well, I know that staying on point is something I need to work on, but just doing public speaking especially to the world without a scrip takes lots of practice, to be honest I never planned on having a TH-cam channel on this scale but now I am going on 4th year and over 800 videos and over 2 million views, so with my channel growing I am trying to make improvements, personal growth and using better gear

Great video wow all my questions was answered!! I want to get into this!!
Great 👍 maybe you will like my other videos, I have more on Expedite and servicing your van, plus other stuff I like to do
How's expediting these days? Still same? More strict or easy as usual?

Yes you right
Hi! I know in one of your videos you recommended tires that you purchased from Walmart can you please give me the brand ? Thanks!
Dextero
I’m curious if I bought a van could I pay someone to drive for me? Then continue to buy vans?
Yes you can, there’s some people here on my channel that ask to drive for someone
How much can i make per mile if i have my own sprinter ? And how many miles per week will i usually drive being my own boss
About .80 to $1.00 per mile and 2500 miles per week that’s what everyone hopes for but the outcome is always different, some weeks you make good money and some you don’t make anything, it’s getting worse, so getting in this business I don’t recommend going into debt, but if you own a van for cash you will make it

Yep
Bought from the Polish mafia lol. They operate in the used sprinter business
Lol
You think there still selling?
Can anyone tell me how much you can gross/net as a driver? I’m thinking of going into business for myself.
The picture at the beginning, I've been there. Dam, how many times must I have past you on the road.
Many times I imagine, lol I drove white sprinter, blue, mat black, gun metal metallic Black and now Silver
What area have you worked in that has the best paying loads? ...I live in Los Angeles and want to get into the business
I work all over
I live in Michigan. I would like to transition out of for hire passenger to cargo/expediting Would you help guide me in the proper direction?
Yes sure, just watch my videos I give away lots of great information about Expediting cargo, if you have any questions just ask
Thank you. Could you recommend any reputable companies to work with in West or Northern Michigan?
Try Load 1, they are very good, here’s a list of every company Expeditersonline@gmail.com
Which websites do you use , for ltl loads for box trucks and sprinter vans?
I don’t use any I get loads from my company
What do you charge for delivery and how do you determine charges. Insurance cost almost $700 a month.
My dad was a truck driver / owner operator on semi truck for 14 years average was 1.00 a mile' lease to a company! 😭
No wonder he was always broke $ !
Forgot to say we live in Laredo; Texas
😂Lol
That’s awesome, looks like you can just go home if you get a load to laredo easy to get stuck there for 4 days or more

I have questions what should I do first to start the business
I have lots of videos that will help you in Expedite play list, but if you have questions about it let me know, also I just made podcasts that will explain this business even more
Have lots of money before starting. If you have your own sprinter, about $20,000 starting out.
I started with much less, but the more you have the better
Did you get my email i send you
No I did not, did you send it to zimaleta@gmail.com
Awesome videos zimaleta
+Frank Bicknell thanks so much Frank, glad to have you here, I hope one Day I will have the biggest Sprinter and Expedite related source
Can you start a Expediting business with a pickup truck?

Are you in the UK or US?
How do you get jobs on your own ?
Are you still in the expediting business??
Yes I do some local runs
@@ZimaletaMotors is expediting worth getting into with no experience not training ?
Are you local to Charlotte NC
Yes
Would you be up to meeting to talk more in-depth about expediting.
Yes I don’t mind but I do charge for consulting 😆
Can you set your own schedule? Thank you?
Yes
So, how do I get into what you are doing?
+Shon Coleman just find a company that gives you loads long distance, with new van like your you can get .90 per mile, I get .80
What is the best way to find companies.
Best way is to go to a website for all expediter information expeditersonline.com
I got my promaster city from there
Cool
Can you please tell me that if a person who doesn't know about anything about expedite n things can start with one cargo van in 2018 n still Can make enough money? Are the City loads good too?? Waiting for your review plssss
City loads are ok, but a normal cargo van without high roof it’s hard to get loads for Expedite
Whats a good place to go for consistent loads. I have a High top sprinter and im still having trouble. I live in Georgia btw
Try mill house there really good
ʬRoyal Mizfitʬ have you had any luck yet? I’m looking into buying a high top sprinter
