Not sure about that, but if you plunging attack with a certain setup you can fall through the asylum demon and teleport to the roof, then just roll your way down to the ground. Does require a quit-out wrong-warp to undo it though.
@@theapexsurvivor9538if you get the positioning right dropping an item at the fog gate where you plunge if spaced correctly allows you to pick it up and enter the fog at the same time, if you change where you’re facing mid animation it lets you skip the fight
I've done this multiple times (katanas are my favorite weapon class) it's big fun to do it! one exception I like to make sometimes is like, picking the Wanderer and only allowing myself to level up dex and no other stats and only pick up stats that ONLY scale with DEX (and the katanas, besides the whips and priscilla's dagger, are the only weapons that met this requirement, and can be obtained early)
If glitches and skips are allowed, you could pull off a one-katana-per-boss type setup. Uchi for gargs, iaito for Quaaludes, skip the golem via Tarkus or the funny UGS running attack teleport skip, washing pole for O&S, homeward bone wrong warp at Firelink Altar to skip the lord souls, Chaos Blade for Gwyn.
2% drop rate. TBH, fighting 50 odd skeletons upon arrival at firelink sounds a lot harder to live through than taking the back door to blight town and going 1 ladder back up the long route. It's a 3 minute trip if you know what you're doing, maybe 6 to 10 if you really don't. I guess the advantage is being able to have more flexibility in the starting class/gift, but the master key is just really nice to have anyway, and you have to wait until Sen's is open to buy it if you don't get it in character creation.
Bruh, it's my favorite DS1 weapon for a reason. Upgrade it to +15, raise your DEX to the soft cap and your END to reach the maximum 160, apply some buff, then cast Power Within, two hand it, and finally mash R1 towards your target of choice. You'll deal thousands of points of damage within seconds, only bosses can survive assuming they haven't attacked you yet.
Falchion might be one of my favorite weapons in the entire game, it was the one who took me out of the gigantic wall I faced when fighting the 4 kings on ng+4, paired with the darkmoon blade with the covenant maxed out
10:48 I thought wrong warps worked with force quitting the game Oh also when you say "tank controls" for sen's skip, does that just mean top down or something else? Because I tried it once and only sort of got it, but the movement was very irretible in death cam, so I gave up on it
Deathcam modifies the controls in this way: Forward (w) moves your character in whatever direction you are looking currently. Left (a) and right (d) rotate your character to the left or right, relative to the direction you are facing. Note that these are really sensitive. Back (s) makes your char just wiggle around weirdly. This works definitely for the top down view, not quite sure about looking up (when you use stairs to get above the plane your cam is in), might be inverted but I havn't tried that.
Did I miss something or did you do this with a +14 falchion instead of +15? I was expecting you to return to the asylum first for the titanite slab. Regardless, enjoyable video as always.
Ah, didn't realize you were using glitches. Any weapon can be made +15 before Anor Londo by killing Capra (large ember) and killing wizard boy (drain New Londo for very large ember). I managed to get a +9 Divine Claymore by only beating Moonlight Butterfly and Pinwheel. You could get a fire weapon in Catacombs w/o killing any bosses. So a fire falchion? I've never done magic upgrade paths so don't know about those. Kill Qualaag and Ceaseless for Chaos weapon?
Doesnt Dark Souls remastered cost $15 in Steam? Or are they just localized prices Steam gives to countries that struggles economically and that i live in?
I think you can glitch through the asylum door now to truly not kill him

Try katanas only challenge run
Title would be something like " can you beat darks souls as sekro " big fan
You can make the rules though

Linking the flame doesn't give you power, it sacrifices all of your power to prolong the age of fire.
“You know what you guys need… to feed on the humanity of the primeval man”
You can also get a falchion from the grave yard
2% drop rate.

12:37 Vergil? Is that you?
The ending isn't the fire strengthening you. The fire is feeding off you, consuming you. Just like it did to Gwyn.
He doesn't understand that the gwyn is a burned corpse bound inside the kiln, and what burning alive is. And the entire plot of ds3
So...
Why does nobody remember the dragon covenant that boosts our power? 😢
Guess I'm doing a falchion run at some point, dang.
ohh cool i found a new dark souls channel.
its funny how easy to kill bosses when you know how to upgrade your weapon
Wow I'm early! Gotta drop whatever I'm doing and watch this now I guess!
Falchion might be one of my favorite weapons in the entire game, it was the one who took me out of the gigantic wall I faced when fighting the 4 kings on ng+4, paired with the darkmoon blade with the covenant maxed out
It was Rickard's Rapier r2 spam with Sunlight blade for me when i hit the same wall 😂
sorcery with magic falchion or just buffed with crystal or great magic weapon spell should be illegal in ds1.
What about Dragon Form? Did you test that out? I think it boosts attack as well, at least when you use the Torso stone roar.
This inspired me to do a similar run.

Could’ve raised your MagAdjust with the Crown of Dusk to further boost your damage, but still a good run nonetheless.

You started getting jumped at 8:07
Made a mistake of checking out your book, damn
Nice 👍

You good
3:56 Yeah its easier done in 60 hz mode than in 90 hz on my laptop

Cool challenge but damn that last chapter with all that narrative and whatnot kinda turned me off.
Getting really bored of "challenge" runs that just cheat like fuck to get any build they want.
Urgh, item duping 😒. Would be cool to see people do things legit
It doesn't matter at all, it just makes things faster
curved sword my favorite weapone in ds1 and think strongest too (painting world guardian sword + sunlight buff)
That was epic
