This is most definitely NOT the proper way to install the wiring loom for the port! Well, if you don't care about a proper job I guess it works. But to do it the proper way you need to loosen the dash unit as well just as you would when installing/routing the heated grips or the cruise control wiring and then route the USB wiring loom through the openings below the TFT display where the wiring for the left and right handlebar controls (and clutch cable/brake hose) is routed. The other thing that's important and not mentioned here: First, remove the upper headlight screw and count the rotations until it comes off!! That way using the same amount of rotations when reinstalling it, your headlight will be aimed correctly since that top screw not only fastens the headlight but is the headlight adjustment screw as well! Lastly, you do NOT need to take the entire headlight off. just taking the top screw off and tilting the headlight down gives you all the access to the panel you need.
Merci pour le tuto

Yes, same with Duke 690 I had before, you have to split the wires!Thank you for watching n for the comment!
Will the spade connectors not plug straight into the lead?

Any links to the product?
Hi, you can get it from your local KTM Dealer ,KTM Power Parts USB-A POWER OUTLET KIT
Ref: 64112950044
Was that a single or double usb port?
They are a single and if mine is anything to go by, the socket is loose and disconnects from the cable.
Are you happy with the Charging Port? Someone told me it charges very slowly
same here, it's only 5V and for big phones not really well
Yes, it might be slow, but it does comes handy when I need to charge iphone while riding! Thanks for the comment!
