  • The local group I have been playing with hosted a fundraiser cornhole tournament that had a singles division so I decided to enter. I have been playing doubles cornhole matches for over a month now, but this singles match was way different. Check out the video and leave any cornhole strategy tips in the comments! #cornhole

You have the mindset and make-up to be really good. Take it from someone who does not.

Ive been trackin your videos since you started, you do have an idea of your weakness.. for your next solo play, i want to see you throw a sticky bag. it will help you keep em on the wood. also will help you flatten out your bag flight.. its hard to go hole for hole with someone that you know is better. you gotta try dirtying up the board.. imo of course!

That's great advice, I have some OG2s that are like velcro

@@cornholenoob From my experience which is pretty minimal, but relatable, 1984 is exactly right about playing better players with blockers. But not sure the issue is how sticky your slow side is. A lot of your long throws in the match would have been off regardless. I think flattening and rotation of the bag will take care of the longs. I practice with Game Changers and until I get the bag flatter with rotation even the sticky sides will be off the back. I've started polishing my board to get it faster than the league boards so when I get to league the speed of the board is not an major adjustment and if it is, it's being able to be a little more aggressive rather than more tentative. Just my two cents, for what its worth.

Keep posting videos like this. You are doing really good commenting but take the shades off for the face to face. It builds an even level subconsciously. I started playing serious about the same time as you and have found a lot of luck and learning skill with the black sheep costellos. It is a sure fire variant that straight slays. Keep up the logs and keep learning.

Thank you! And I have some costellos, love em, but the boards where we play are pretty slick

@@cornholenoob just go with the flow. Also you should do a review on the costello bags. Break in process, playability all that stuff

Also man your bags don't play like they are that broke in. That was his advantage

Like the videos man. Too many off the board maybe get yourself a bag with a little slower slow side. Keep up the good content and good luck!

Really enjoyed watching your progress from the start. I'm 3 months into cornhole play and can relate to everything you're going through.
Would like to know how your Ghostholio and Roundholio stats are comparing to your actual game play stats?
I have only played in one actual tournament and about a dozen league matches and am shocked at how my Scoreholio practice stats are not even close to my actual game play stats.
    Keep grinding and progressing.
    Cheers

Thanks for following along! I def notice a difference, tightening up just a little in live games seems to lead to big time effects on accuracy
