The guy who actually made these sounds actually did mention that these are just the closest depictions of what he thought they might sound like and he does confirm that we really don't know what they sound like, along with new information of a certain ankylosaur's throat that might have proof of dinosaurs having sounds closer to animals that we have today. Again, this is just the information I'm going on.

@@gabrieltheachillobatorwe do have larynx from pinacosaurus but all we can tell from it is dinosaurs could have more complex sounds than we thought, that's it, it can't even tell us what type of sounds it could produce like in parasaurolophus and corythosaurus
Parasaurolophus is the *only* exception because we actually have a fossilized sound-producing body part, its crest. Even then, there's no way of knowing exactly what it sounded like.
On the no vocal chords i need to point out we do have larynx from a pinacosaurus that was described last year...but still this cant help on telling how it sounds, it can only tell us that they definitely could make more complex sounds than just hissing (after all even the birds that were used as reference like ratites, they too can make loud sounds but for some reason only territorial rumbling of cassowary got famous instead of their louder calls)
If I make a dinosaur sounds video, I would just use crocodillians and birds, like the sound designer did for Prehistoric Planet. I can't say how many times on tiktok I hear these same sounds, and folks would run with it that these are real dinosaur sounds.
No one will ever be able to make real dinosaur sounds, dinosaur sounds can be similar to the sounds of birds and crocodiles, but which ones exactly, someone screamed like a kiwi, someone hissed like a crocodile someone was crowing, but these sounds are closer to reality than the growling from the movies.

Weird people think they were actually real. I always thought they were just speculative, though not based on specific evidence (because birds have evolved more advanced vocal capabilities than dinosaurs.) It shouldn't be taken as real, but I guess only helped get people away from the mammalian, monster or Jurassic park roars as defacto dinosaur calls, though still not actually backed in science specific to those dinosaurs anatomically.
Prehistory in the Dark also says that the sounds used for the dinosaurs in the video you're talking about are not real dinosaur sounds. He said, and I quote "None of that is based in Science. These sounds are purely theoretical, and based on literally nothing when it comes to proper science" (Prehistory in the Dark).
Not even theoretical, hypothetical. The EPB is extremely flawed, so using it to supplement knowledge about something as variable as vocalisation is ridiculous
