I was looking at taps and anywhere where tap water is used and the amount of chemicals and lime scale from hard water building up is kind of scary… To think this stuff is going into peoples bodies is disgusting. If these things found in tap water can do this to a machine, what is it doing to peoples bodies??? Might this be the reason so many people are so sick from drinking tea and coffee all the time after using tap water?? I bought my mum and sister new kettles and told them to only use bottled water at level ph 7 in their letters as it is horrifying to think what’s going into their bodies from this water, and since using bottled water from the past week or 2 I have seen no evidence of limescale in their kettles. Even if you get a drop of water on a piece of glass you can see the chemical and limescale deposits on the glass and it is not even that much quantity of water. Look around and ask yourself these about these things, you should be worried about this stuff if you want to stay healthy and not destroy your body.
Im going to try this, my kettle has so much limescale im worried it wont work but after reading the coments below im hopeful. Will update once im done...... OMG it really does work!!!! My kettle looks brand new thank you so so sooooo much!
White wine vinegar. You can buy it at any supermarket like Morrisons Tescos Sainsbury's should cost around £1... remember 1litre water 100ml white wine vinegar. Once boiled water leave to cool down a few minutes and reboil the kettle. Do this as many times until you see the limescale disappear. Open the window as the room will smell of vinegar. Stay safe and one love people
It works but I depends on vinegar I mean the manufacturing company bcoz he says 100 ml of synthetic vinegar but for my kettle it the whole bottle of 625 ml of vinegar. But IT WORKS 👍🏻
Thank you , you did it at the perfect pace so you can see the results and that your method actually works . Not some rushed idea that doesn't Thank you
i threw away my kettle once because i tried scrubbing the limescale and couldn't. i thought it was the water here that was full of dirt and that my kettle was no longer usable 🤦🏻♂️
I have many times cleaned my electric kettle from limescale with vinegar. Everything turns out perfectly - all the limescale disappears without problems. )
You could also use diluted (11:1) 30 percent or less food grade hydrogen peroxide, and leave it in overnight. H2/O2 just uses the power of oxygen to clean and disinfect. It's probably the main ingredient in Oxiclean, laundry stain removers, and in drain deblockers including Drano.
As an alternative okay, but people are more likely to have regular white vinegar at home. I have both; but even my hydrogen peroxide is not food grade. Annnd there’s a large jug of vinegar sitting nearby. Wonder what I’ll do…
Hello. This method can remove scale from any pots, kettles, etc. The main thing is that nothing happened to your dishes from the use of vinegar or citric acid.

Salt won’t remove limescale. Vinegar or lemon juice will work. What I did is; pour the solution in the kettle and let it boil. Usually electric kettle will automatically shut off after boiling. Then let the solution stay in the kettle for the whole night. When you wake up in the morning you have a clean kettle.
Zain -A thanks bro it helped.. the stain was so stubborn, that I literally had to scrape it off .. but it got cleaned eventually leaving scratches.. 🤟🏻

Can I use lemon juice instead of citric acid ?
Hi. It is unlikely that you will be able to wash your kettle with ordinary lemon juice. It is better to use vinegar.
Works, thank you. Ps: pour the used water in your toilet and flush after minimum of 1 hour, will clean the limescale stains x

Wont lime scale cause corrosion/rust on stainless steel? Do you have to boil it? Thanks

Where do get Citric acid powder
Hello. Citric acid powder can be purchased at the store. It is usually sold in the condiment department.
Thanx

Watching in autumn 2022 when it costs £1 to boil a kettle lol

where to get citric acid
Hi. Citric acid can be purchased at any store that sells food.
@@CheerfulCraft cooked food?
We usually buy citric acid where they sell salt, sugar, flour and other ingredients for cakes and other pastries.

Is citric acid the same as baking soda?
Hi. Baking soda will not give such an effect as citric acid.

@@CheerfulCraft haha clear language barrier here, he's basically asking can you use domesticated products such as Harpic Power plus. Obviously because it contains HCl it's an effective reagent to use from my understanding.

Can I use black vinegar
Hi. You can use any vinegar, but I think the most common vinegar is best.
Actually no need so many things, boil water with lemon (with skin) will do.

I used vinegar and water boiled it up.. didn't work limescale still there.
Hi. The video says that if the layer of limescale is thick, you need to boil water several times to remove it.
After boiling let the solution stay in the kettle overnight. What I did is I boil the solution then went to bed when I wake up limescale is gone.
@@lutongpinoy4602 It's not gone, now it's in my kettle.... thanks.

Hello. Yes, the main thing is not to pour a lot of water, because a small amount of foam may form during boiling.
Certainly DOES NOT work against Yorkshire lime scale

Why so dark
Yes, it's dark. Perhaps in the future this video will be shot with brighter lighting.
Can clearly see you used a scouring pad and scratched the coating on the bottom of the kettle this will lead to faster limescale buildup
Hi. I have never washed the kettle with a washcloth. But what is the difference? The video is not about that.
Mera kettle saaf nahi hua 😞😞
It's okay bro, sometimes Nahi Hota, baking soda bhi use karlo vinegar ke saath. That's also another effective method. Good luck!!
