- In this video, YOU get in the driver seat of a C5 Corvette Z06 with Long Tube Headers and a Hurst short throw shifter! The C5 Corvette Z06 is armed with the 5.7L LS6 V8 that made around 385HP (Pre-2002 years), which was not bad for the time... Today, it makes for an incredibly fun drive with it's explosive V8 engine and ultra light weight! Enjoy the brutal sound of the naturally aspirated LS6 V8 engine. C5 is so underrated. So sleek and classic. Also that interior is super clean
I don't think they're underrated, try finding and buying a 6spd C5...they're rarely available
@@GratefulFed that’s because it’s a manual. manual vettes are always harder to find. price wise they are not that expensive, you can find c5s for 12k. For the price it’s definitely underrated, in 10 years i guarantee the c5 will shoot up in value.

So something I noticed at 1:30. Is this a common issue with hurst short throws? My 2012 camaro ss has the 6spd and hurst short throw and grinds going from 1st into 2nd gear.
First time using the Hurst and I'm a bit disappointed. I think it's too much of a process. MGW for me is the best one. But i'd like to try other Hurst shifters before a final FINAL conclusion.
I have a hurst short throw on my 06 mustang and I have no issues grinding or getting it into gear are just learning it?
Car needs an MGW shifter in it lol I never struggle to get my C5 Z06 in gear like that hurst shifter is causing
