With a rather unusual early game strategy, in this Zerg versus Terran we see both players making several hilarious mistakes make the game flip back and forth in each other's favour. This is a Gold League match of Zerg versus Terran in StarCraft 2.

thats why the zergs loses.
They are it's just it's easier to see that when you have the luxury of time. When it's you whos playing, you're always focusing on this or that or the other and before you know it you've not built anything for 2 mins.
If you can nail you're 2-4 min cookie cutter opening (when I was still playing it was the 2 raxx stim timing push), forget "strategy", forget "micro". You don't need them.
Macro. Always be getting at least one tech, always be building units, always be getting your next expansion. If you nearly max out, attack, but never ever stop the macro for anything, even if it means losing your army.
If your build queues are full, by the time you've lost your army and come back, it'll be ready to go again and you'll just grind your opponent.
Like in this game, they'll resort to just spamming fast build units, empty their bank and lose because they run out of money and product.
If at any point you win a fight and aren't forced out, just rally your macro to the army and attack move to the main, do not stop macroing.

Lowko please cast more of these games! I love the remastered videos and the profesional casts but seeing these games, (and especially lower level ones), are the what brought me to your channel and made me subscribe. Keep up the good work regartless!
This sort of content requires good submissions as he said at the start.
I am certain Lowko would cast tonnes of these if the content was fun to cast!

I agree, my favorite matches are the ones with lower level, they always "Pull off" some pretty un-seen strategies

Kaizer played that perfectly.
The hatchery was no threat and Nocturnum lost plenty of resources trying to do something with it.
Magos Errant Malleator could’ve saved a few more marines dealing with it but yeah, the amount of minerals wasted by the Zerg on that was crazy compared to the few marines he killed
After the game settled down for a bit, T took his 3rd. Z was on an absurd number of bases. Z needed to spend. 1 evo, no spire, no ultras? It's not monopoly. Spend, or in the case of terran, stim, to win.
sfukuda512 Yeah, I cringed when he focused on mass banelings and roaches. Hydras and Infestors were good but he didn't really made a much more better unit than those.

pretty sure this was and will be the first and only time I've seen a Infestor nerual a medivac to heal a roach in a 1v1.... amazing.

Lowko, you must understand: We leave a gap in our wall offs for a reason. We go through with a MASSIVE hole in the wall, but lowering the supply depots make us feel so much cooler 😎😎
The lower cast games are hilarious, especially because of your commentary, but you do a good job of not being offensive

I am a relic from a bygone time, but didn't gold league used to be a smidge more difficult to reach than it is now
jon arbuckle No you are right. The niveau has fallen. 2010, 2011 I was stuck as top silver. But I am positive I could have wiped the floor with them in a 2vs1.

How is this gold?... I am in gold and this is not the type of players I am matched against. I don't want to sound mean, but not seeing hatchery in your main base!? That's Silver at most.

I get that it happens ye but im high gold atm. Eventhough not playing alot but my resources never go this high and i never have this few workers. its painfull to watch. This feels like bronze xD
Winter always say "you are way shittier than you even think", which is true. At some point, you will make the same mistake whether you notice or not. Even GM or Top Tier players can't guarantee they are free from such error.
Which is exactly what i say. Im not good but this is nowhere near my normal level of play. Maybe they where both off racing which makes things way harder. But this simply isn't gold thats all im saying.
After almost closing it out he gets smashed all the way to quitting and adds that touch of "not gg" salt to top it off. Best type of SC vids.

My personal favourite battle in the game at 17:32 : Two roaches trying to kill two gasmining scvs which are constantly getting healed by two medivacs...

You say it's a wierd strategy, but it did work - the Terran didn't attack the Zerg main bases once for the first 10 minutes, he wasted a load on units which got taken out, he delayed his third CC, and he kept pulling SCVs off the mineral line. It did work as much as it was intended to - it didn't destroy the enemy it just debilitated them.

Omg, Terran is not op. Can we stop whining about races we don't like being overpowered? Each race has their strengths. If you don't know how to play to those strengths then the race you're losing too is automatically OP? It's bullshit. Zerg is a very powerful race, and we all know how strong Protoss units are. Saying that one race is "OP" and not giving any specific reasons why just makes you look childish. There are way too many different strategies and variables to make a blanket statement saying that one race is overpowered. It's naive. I could say Hydras are OP, I could say Locusts are OP, I could say that Vipers have some of the most OP spells, but I can't say that Zerg as a whole is OP because Terran and Protoss have counters to specific Zerg strategies.
Also, I'll never understand why people feel the need to grasp on to one race like it's their child, like it defines their very being, while the other 2 races can rot in hell. It's so irrational. Seeing fervor like that for a single race disturbs me.
It was ironical man, it's a joke about the zerg BM at the end while it's entirely his fault if he loses.

Kaiser is the closest similar word in germand and mean as you mentioned correctly emperor or something as a ruler. Germany had a kaiser about 1800 up to 1920.

Lowko. If you cast a 3v3 4v4 game it might be easier to just pick one or two players and just follow them around with out much jumping around
Terran needed higher TPM(turrets per minute) and SPM(sensor towers per minute) to be more bronzie:P

jajaja. Really funny. I was expecting something interesting about the sensor tower but in the end not even that was enough to make the Terran player to notice he has a Hatchery in his own base.

Yes but this was spelled with a Z, not with an S, it's probably someone from Eastern Europe trying to use the German word for the Emperor cause in Slavic languages the reading is done literally whilest in German (I guess sometimes) the S is pronounced as a Z lol
Kaiser is derived from an early Germanic interpretation of "Caesar" - reference : www.etymonline.com/word/kaiser
It means emperor in basically any European language - up to and including Russian Tzar. Obviously, after Gaius Julius Caesar. Emperor is also from latin - "imperator" is one who wields authority - imperium - over the legions and the Empire.

Back when I was still playing SC2, I realised pretty quickly that once I nailed the 3/4(?) min 2 raxx opening, the only thing that really mattered was macro.
As long as I remember to build units constantly, I'd win through sheer numbers.
Alway have a tech in progress, alway have the raxx building something, anything, alway be building your next expansion.
You can pretty much get to plat like that.

Maybe Kaizer let the hatchery build up because he thought he could easily destroy it and thus waste the zerg's resources?
Caeser in Roman era Latin was actually pronounced as Kaiser when spoken. Just as Cicero was pronounced as Kikero.

If you ever play protoss I recommend Oracle harass but with stasis wards.
OMG Terran floating so many resources when that hatch was in his base. He wasn't making jack shit. I'm sitting here yelling at the screen "MAKE SOMETHING!" I have never played ladder before, but I now know that I would be well above gold league. NOCTURNUM was right... Not Good Game.

Wow I don't even remotely understand this game but Z should have been spending and upgrading to higher tier units halfway through when he had Kaiser on the ropes. He got lazy and didn't deal the finishing blow

I actually agree with letting the hatchery finish. If he let it cancel, zerg would only loss 50, was it? But not zerg lost 300. Terran shouldve been ready to shoot it right when it finished though.
