I want to be a pro streamer that starts from nothing, gets big, gets into drama, rages and loses everything and gets a "downfall of " video made on them 😂
Not a terrible person, but don't get hopes up to be replacing steady daily work income, success is very random as well as a consistent substantial income... I'm considered a "small streamer " still with just over 1k followers and monetary support may come roughly from 5% of that following, there's a $50 payout threshold on Twitch( plus they take half of support given) so it all varies for me, 1 month might be lucky to pay car note, the next not even at the threshold to put gas in that car😂 so yeah my main reasons are 1. Mental therapy/ reality escape 2. Help others in need 3. Monetary gain
I’m hoping to get into streaming for #1 to stop being so damn poor 24/7, and #2 help me get over my stupid crippling social anxiety ! 🤞🏻!! Been watching some of your vids, I appreciate the help you’ve given me!
Thanks for this video and also for acknowledging that not everyone wants to stream to become a professional, and that it's totally okay to just wanna do it as a hobby.

Everyone's situation is different, so that's for you to decide. If it's something you think you'll like doing or find joy in, then I think it's worth giving a shot!

Hey, thank you for making videos like that. I wanna start streaming just because almost all of my best friends left for the summer and now im felling kinda lonely without them and wanna socialize with people without going out drinking and plus i love talking and meeting new people

What about users running the inbuilt streamer on Xbox One S/X? I tested it out, and the only problem I had was on my computers end - the stream froze. However, I reloaded the page, and it worked. The disadvantage being that I cannot capture the video with my computer to edit and upload to TH-cam, so I am stuck on Twitch.
I figured id give it a shot, i already game a lot as is perhaps something will come of it. Anyone else who does it hate their voice? How did you overcome the feeling?
Thank you Cody, ima be shouting you out first if anything happens, but also now I know if it's really for me or not and yeah if I'm not going to make it full time then why do it at all.
What is the best way to filter/manage channel watchers playing in your stream with you? I am a new streamer, and I recently had a regrettable situation happen on my stream. It was my fault. I didn't even consider the situation. An individual was in my stream chat, talking and asking questions about the game and game play. I interacted with this individual for about an hour while playing and streaming. Eventually this person asked if they could join me in a game. Remember, I had only streamed 4 times prior to this night. Anyways, I said sure ( I know, big mistake ). They got in game and immediately started asking if we could play a higher level and since I was playing with a friend who was a low level I said no and if they wanted to play they would have to play the lower level. They agreed, started playing and complained the whole time that they were used to higher level and didn't like it. After a few matches they said they were going to jump out of game and play the higher level. All good. Except he never left the voice chat. They kept talking about HIS game like we were there too. It was very awkward and annoying. I never said anything (the part that is my fault as well) so it continued for an hour until I ended the stream. I do not have any moderators yet since I am so new. What advice can you give to screen/filter/manage people who want to engage in a game with me? Sorry for the length of this posting but I thought context might help. Thank you for your time.
Ive been streaming for like 3-4 months now i just feel frustrated rn i want more viewers but im just stuck at a measly average of 3 it doesnt help either that my viewer count tends to drop, my tiktoks get like 200ish views everytime i feel like my efforts or me in specific arent good enough, what could i do?
Question should I save up for a laptop. Gonna just be dedicated for streams. Or should I just stream and save up for a pc. Currently stream on Xbox. Tryna work out a schedule but working 10 hr shifts and streaming lowkey kinda hard haha.
@@CpawsMusic I kinda want a laptop to start off with tbh, but I’m not a tech guy at all. So I have 0 idea on how to tell if a laptop or pc is good😭🤣. I just want that ain’t over 1k cause my bank acct ain’t great
Been thinking about doing this for my daughter she’s only 7 but has mastered the art of Mario games. I stop letting her win 6 months again in Mario kart and it’s very only won a hand full of times.
You mentioned likely wanting to invest in two screens, one for gaming, one for reading chat. Can I use my phone for reading chat instead of investing in a whole different screen?
I’m trying to stream again, it’s been two years and I’m an artist so Ive wanted to show more Tradtional drawing not just digital. Im trying to stream mobile right now on some days I don’t mind the limitations I just want to show people how to draw. But yes, love the tips here. 😊
I just started Streaming via the Xbox one. I play Fortnite with my friends ( we aren't in an Xbox party chat ) , we chat via the Fortnite party chat. My friends audio isn't being streamed to Twitch, only my own mic. How can I fix this?
Usually you'll need a capture card and to stream via pc (connecting your console footage to your pc via a capture card and using something like obs studio to stream)
I just joined Twitch yesterday and I wasn’t sure how to put myself inside the stream while playing my games on my PlayStation 5. Are there any other options if I don’t have a capture card.
Okay I have some questions after binging a buttload of your videos I have a gaming laptop (alienware) and she has an older graphics card since I bought her in 2020. Also her sound speakers broke. Is it possible to stream, with an older gaming laptop, with broken speakers? I was interested in learning how to do a no cam stream, but is there a way to use lets say Raycon earbuds for my own audio and then another way of capturing sound for a stream without working speakers? Also, what editing software would you recommend? Overall, I am interested to know if it is even possible for me to do a stream at all. Thanks hope you can help!
Yup! Totally possible! Set your computer speakers as the desktop audio device and just connect your raycons to your computer to hear your audio - for editing software I recommend Davinci Resolve (it's free!)

the first night I setup my xbox to stream through obs I had party chat coming through, Now I cannot figure put what changed. have any videos for this??
I've thought about this a lot especially to help grow more my youtube channel which has been doing alright i think, my friends have suggested it as well to me which maybe by December or earlier i might do due to college happening for me and the semester ending the 2nd week of decemeber for me
Im trying to go for console streaming and i currently have a good mic and an xbox headset, but i wanted to know if that would be good for my first streams. I also wanted to know how to put music on my stream?
Thanks for the info. I stream on ny ps5 and can only edit on ps5 share factory (since I have no laptop), so its been reslly hard to get people to click on my videos and give me a chance.. gaming channels are hard
I don't want to become a professional streamer or anything. I just play a lot of Call of Duty and want to share it. I don't have a particularly outgoing personality; it's quite black and white. Does anyone have any tips for me?
As a person who just got a pc and made a twitch and all socials JUST YESTERDAY THIS DUDE’s video was the most straight forward everyone else’s “How to stream” TH-cam videos seem like scams as if they are trying to sell me something..or are hiding information because “it’s too valuable to teach people how to stream” vibes 😂😂 I have a pc with a single monitor I play on a ps5..on that same monitor and I also use that as my computer and switch inputs ..it’s pretty big…it’s a gaming rig but funny enough I only use the monitor for gaming with ps5 not my pc😂just use that as a regular computer…STILL HAVE SOME QUESTIONS WONDER IF I COULD STREAM MY Ps5 gameplay and manage my live stream webcam, chat, audio, etc. with one monitor or I’m guessing I 2nd monitor is a must…
I want to stream often soo badly and actually become a streamer.. I’ve given up on it for about 5 months but want to start again.. I really hope I can get somewhere some day.. I can’t do fancy notifications for when someone follows me and stuff cause I can only stream on my Xbox and I have a really old sucky laptop so I can’t use it for that😢 but I still just hope to get somewhere some day. Also do you have any tips? Another thing that puts me off of streaming is myself, I feel like I’m being so unnatural and boring on streams with when I talk and I feel so awkward! I’m a very shy person so streaming helps me with that but I always just feel so awkward when I talk when I just wanna relax and have my voice be natural
honestly you don't need anything fancy to be a good streamer, just to learn a lot of skills to improve your content. I'd recommend checking out my playlist on how to grow your stream :D
Bruh ima try this.... once i can get a pc or laptop. I wanna get big off of games i love to play, hopefully not get into drama and definitely not turn into a pdf file after going mainstream .

@@CpawsMusic I checked control audio via OBS, sound doesn't play. I then switched it to monitor and output, still doesn't play.
so you can't hear the audio and your stream can't hear it, or just you? @@longgameplaysessions
@@CpawsMusic I can't hear it, not sure about the stream though. The volume bar works but the sound can't be heard.
mm not 100% sure on where the issue would be :/ @@longgameplaysessions
I've thought about this a lot especially to help grow more my youtube channel which has been doing alright i think, my friends have suggested it as well to me which maybe by December or earlier i might do due to college happening for me and the semester ending the 2nd week of decemeber for me
Heck yeah!
question though isn’t stream labs you have to pay for
Nope
Thanks for the info, have been trying to join own3d community but I'm unable to,any help or suggestions?
I'd recommend reaching out to their support chat since they can help from their end :D
Im trying to go for console streaming and i currently have a good mic and an xbox headset, but i wanted to know if that would be good for my first streams. I also wanted to know how to put music on my stream?
use what you already have :D for music, im not sure how for xbox
yo dude, i stream on a ps5 and everything works but nobody watches me. do i tag anything that might take some ppl in? ❤
Watch my playlist on how to grow 😄
Can i stream simply my recorded gameplay??
Yup! You can record in OBS Studio locally :D
uhhh i only have 1 moniter and no laptop what do i do now?
you can also stream directly from your xbox or ps if you have one!
@@CpawsMusic man i dont have a ps or xbox also can i stream from 1 moniter or mobile?
ima be honest i wanna stream but i dont have enough money for a mic my headset doesnt work a a mic for my pc for some reason
gotta use what you got
Thanks for the info. I stream on ny ps5 and can only edit on ps5 share factory (since I have no laptop), so its been reslly hard to get people to click on my videos and give me a chance.. gaming channels are hard
You're very welcome! If you end up having any questions or just wanna say hi, you can ask me live over on Twitch www.twitch.tv/cpawsmusic :D
I don't want to become a professional streamer or anything. I just play a lot of Call of Duty and want to share it. I don't have a particularly outgoing personality; it's quite black and white. Does anyone have any tips for me?
Just have fun with it and give it a shot 😄
Your video is the best
Much love fam!
how to get a stream back on twitch if you delete it?😢
You can't :(
As a person who just got a pc and made a twitch and all socials JUST YESTERDAY THIS DUDE’s video was the most straight forward everyone else’s “How to stream” TH-cam videos seem like scams as if they are trying to sell me something..or are hiding information because “it’s too valuable to teach people how to stream” vibes 😂😂 I have a pc with a single monitor I play on a ps5..on that same monitor and I also use that as my computer and switch inputs ..it’s pretty big…it’s a gaming rig but funny enough I only use the monitor for gaming with ps5 not my pc😂just use that as a regular computer…STILL HAVE SOME QUESTIONS WONDER IF I COULD STREAM MY Ps5 gameplay and manage my live stream webcam, chat, audio, etc. with one monitor or I’m guessing I 2nd monitor is a must…
Thank you!! Technically you can, but I wouldn't really recommend it. 2 monitors makes everything 10x easier haha
Damn I’ve got a couple of cool single player games I’d like to
Stream, but they’re pirated. :(
:(
I want to stream often soo badly and actually become a streamer..
@@CpawsMusic thank you! I will definitely check it out!
If u have a laptop, u can use that as a second monitor. If u cant use ur phone to start with
whatever works best for ya!
What about ipad?
You'd stream through the Twitch app then
@ so can I use camera and play game at the same time or just play game?
@Camii0820 just the game OR your cam if you're using the twitch app
i need some help my stream for some reason is on mature ausdience and i cant turn it off

@@CpawsMusic ok

Bruh ima try this.... once i can get a pc or laptop.
I wanna get big off of games i love to play, hopefully not get into drama and definitely not turn into a pdf file after going mainstream .

Lit shit...just subscribed bruh...
Much love fam!

Does anyone know how many followers and views you need to start making money?

I, Vevendil, Weapon Master, will begin streaming the greatest fantasy games of all time. Not for money, but for the love of the artform.
ayyy
@@CpawsMusic Great video by the way 🙏🏼
U can use streamyard also
Streamyard is mainly for talking head streams/videos
What if I only have one monitor
still possible but a pain in the *** haha
The Discord announcement sent me here! ...eventually. 🙃
