Colorway wise i think Georgetowns but it looks like the Black and Whites are a tad bit more like the true OGs on shape and leather quality even for 85 highs.
All of them are super clean. I’m only missing the New Beginnings and Neutral Grey pairs! My favorite pair is the Black Varsity Red aka Photoshopped aka Reverse Breds! Lol
I grabbed the reverse bred 85s from GOAT for 300 bucks. I’ve had the neutral grey, Georgetowns, and black and whites, but I’ve always wanted the red and black pair. Couldn’t believe the prices dropped so much.
New subscriber here also, great video, I got the black and white, and try to put my hands on the varsity red and the neutral, but maybe I’ll go for the Georgetown first because it’s the lowest of all 3 in prices now. For my preferred model I go like you. Neutral and B&W and for the same reasons, it’s a real OG colorway from 85 made in Korea. I don’t understand by the way why Nike didn’t make only “real” colorways only for the 85 collection. And last thing, I saw that in 2024 they will drop 3 models of the 85: -85 white / red metallic 🔥 -85 “ / burgundy metallic 🔥 -85 low white / blue metallic 🔥 All original colorways from 85 !! Sorry I’m from France so I’m not sure my English is perfect Congrats again for the quality content !!!
you know whats crazy. i just checked GOAT earlier today the the New Beginnings AJ1s are going for more then the New Beginnings PACK that includes both the AJ1 and Air Ship, now what sense does that make? Why the hell would someone buy Just the AJ1 when it cost more then the AJ1 and Air Ship combined in the pack? Some sellers are obviously just not fully there in the head.
I just caught up on my ‘85 collection today with my Maroons arriving. Funny how you spoke them up looking back a year later. You should do an updated collection vid ! If I had to pick my favs of all it would be the blk / white and low white / natural greys
Amazing contest as always! i was curious about sizing, sorry if i missed this, but how do they fit compared to regular og highs? I can wear TTS but sometimes i’ll opt for .5 size down to minimize the room around my foot. any thoughts for sizing on the 85s?
Id go TTS. My first week wearing the Georgetown my feet hurt and hated them. Now they’ve broken in and they are prob my comfiest AJ1s. Hope this helped!
The black and white pair are the best 85s they’ve made so far. The Neutral Grays are great, but, the plastic coating on those are WAY too heavy. Same with some of the other pairs. I wore my black and white 85s today and the leather did not feel like they had a “break-in” period.
@@cristiannevarez1026 that’s one of the other great pairs. But, still had too much plastic coating on top. The black and white pair is leagues apart from every previous release.

I've been contemplating on which pair to get. I really love the color blocking on the varsity red but the plastic coating on it is disappointing.
My fav are the georgetowns. I beat that pair to the ground and they will last me 20 more years and will keep getting better with time 🔥🔥🔥

I love my Georgetowns. Definitely need those Stealths aka "Pandas" coming out, can't go wrong with a black/white color way.

Black Varsity Red - obviously. Can there be any doubt? Better than 2016 Banned and even the 2011 B-Stock Banned Grails.

The only pair I have is the blk wht pair but the g towns are def my favorites and probably the best aesthetically.
