These two were so similar in personality in the show and here, of course, still in character. I think that made the show more fun.

At first I thought he might be related to Hal Holbrook in some way---two southern actors, both with the same last name? But no, that's not the case, at least as far as anybody knows.
Boyd has a track record for playing some really off-kilter characters: Donald Pierce in "Logan". Klaber in "Indiana Jones: The Dial of Destiny". The Corinthian in "The Sandman". And then THIS guy. :) He's probably the sanest, most chill kinda guy in real-life----just gets out his inner insanity on the screen, LOL.

Am I the only one that finds it incredibly ironic, that he spent six Seasons chasing a character named Boyd, only to come back 8 years later and co-star with a guy who's actually named Boyd 😆

I wish they would have answered the questions instead of laughing them all off. I would love to know why Tim decided to come back now. Surely he's been approached before. Also, I would love to know why Holbrook started watching in season 5. He kind of skirted around that.
For the money
I just binge watched this in 24 hrs. Raylan, has to come back again now that Boyd Crowder is back. Best show ever “ Justified “ Have rewatched it three times and will watch again as long as it’s available ❤❤❤❤

Loved Justified. Came back for more, almost cut it short, but I hung in there and I'm sure glad I did. Kudos gents, you pulled off a great show and a fitting continuation of the Raylan Givens saga. What I'm absolutely blown away by is that Clement Mansell was played by Boyd Holbrook. Not once during the eight episodes did I realize it was Boyd. Unbelievable performance. He has such a way of disappearing into his character like a Robert De Niro, Matthew Modine or Philip Seymour Hoffman. Now I can't wait to see what's up with the other Boyd!

Man, never in my life have I seen such lack of on-screen chemistry as in this series between Raylan and that attorney.

This is brilliant.
In fists I think Clement would win. In the old Justified, Raylan did not stand up so good against fist fighters. He was a gunslinger, not a brawler. Whereas so far as we've seen in the show, Clement is not above throwing down fists.
I agree. Raylan usually seemed to avoid prolonged confrontation. He used his whit to subdue bad guys in unique or quick ways simply so he wouldn't have to tussle. Makes him a great lawman
I thought he did okay. He only lost to Mags' much larger son and a jealous mma fighter. Oh and when he was outnumbered. Otherwise I

Not to mention Raylan himself is a lot older than Clemont in general. He is fit but Clemont will have the speed, rage, and forecity to just go into a brawler rage as soon as he gets the slightly edge on Raylan.
@@MichaelBlanchardII Wasn't the bodyguard a professional boxer? The barflies outnumbered him & he was holding his own until he was hit by a board. Coover was massive. Randall was a fairly bog mma fighter. Come to think of it you're right, he does lose a lot, but to be fair his opponents are no slouches.

So far, this interview is the best thing i have seen concerning City Primeval. Loved the original. This series up until now has barely kept me awake. i just keep holding on, hoping...

wasn't "Justified" for me, had the name but was missing the essence, but that would have been some feat in my opinion as the essence was Harlan County and with that all it entails, Chicago, Detroit, even Miami as rich & stipped in historical lawlessness and criminal activities these locations have in abundance, they lack that "us against the world" spirit that is so prevalent in Harlan, so if there is going to be a season 2, and if it's going to stand any chance of being a success then I suggest going down the obvious route of going back to it's roots,
that's my opinion anyway

The show is different and I like it. I can go without seeing the tidy whitey scenes, and wonder why the directors chose the character to wear those rather than say a little bit more modernized men's briefs. I'm not sure if the costume choice is supposed to be funny or gross.

Who'd a thunk an actor named Boyd, who is in fact from Kentucky, would make such a terrible "Justified" villain.
He was a brilliant criminal and fabulous eye candy.
Unfortunately the show was very bad, staged and boring, but Justified is superb.
I gave up before the end of the first episode.
I went back on 3 separate occasions to try to finish it,, couldn't believe what I was seeing,, finally went to IMDb to see if it was just me and it isn't,, , the show sucks !!

I've watched every episode, but this round of Justified just does NOT make me want to watch it twice! When I watched it in the past I couldn't get enough. I think it's the location. Detroit just doesn't have the Good Ole Boy criminals. Come back to the south and make some better shows. Please!
Hey...to be honest...this reboot is garbage . Manzell ain't no Boyd Crowder and the show runner and writers should have been fired a long time ago. Lift a glass of Pappy to that.
Sadly it's very disappointing...turned it into woke crap ...they neutered Raylan and hooked him up with a pork chop 🙄
They just stuck the character of Raylan in a story where he doesn't belong.
