Can anyone help here? How to remove or disable dynamic data exchange (dde link) from libreoffice writer document? The problems are can't write next paragraph. When I write it shows in orange color text, I cant change the color and on the corner side , I see row black line when I write.
Select table, cut (ctrl-x), click where you want to paste, paste (ctrl-v). When selecting table, you need to also select one row above table (can be empty row) in order to cut it and not just it's contents.
One more very useful tip.. use repeat heading in the table properties so that the headers of the table automatically repeats at the next page (if your table has a lot of rows)... Select table... right click.. table properties.. text flow... check the "repeat heading" and define how many rows to repeat.. its easier to read.. plus the repeated header moves automatically at the top page of next page if you add or delete rows in between... p/s: if you do this.. you can't edit the heading on the next page, must edit changes (if any) at the original headers..
Still missing some useful functions like resizing an individual table cell. I just couldn't get it to work and nobody was able to provide a solution. Too bad because I can't wait to break free from MS Office and their charges.
