Thank you for this video! I've been beating my head against the wall trying to find out how to wrap text around an image for a good hour. I didn't realize I couldn't just use a copy/paste image from a web page! As soon as I saved a web page graphic to my PC, THEN I could do the wrap stuff. GEEZ. I just installed LibreOffice and thought I was getting a 'free' MS Office program, but LO doesn't necessarily work like it would have in MS Office.
That's all fine but how do you keep them in the text where you want them, how do you even keep them on the same page, WordPerfect could do that 30 years ago and I cant do it with the latest version of LibreOffice!
A simple question you might be able to answer: not all images I import into LibreOffice have Properties that allow me to rename and organize them. Do you know why that might be? Thank you.
How can I save a picture as a JPG or JPEG in libreoffice. In Microsoft Word or any of the others, I just clicked "save as" and selected the extension I wanted.
This video is a greater stress relief than a 10 hr rain and thunder sound track! But wich version do you use. You have more tools in your toolbar, and I couldn´t figure out, how to move the anchor. It´s just grey an one can´t simly click on it. regards
Hi, I'm trying to ready my first eBook for Smashwords publication bring in a word.odt file. I hope someone can tell how the LibreOffice controls of the 'image window work? In the image control window does keep 'aspect ratio' refer to the CM numbers or to the aspect in relation to the size of the window of a 'paragraph' designation on devices and does 'Protect' Position mean protect in relation to the spot ... no movement ... or protect in relation to other photos in a horizontal lineup? Will the images flow with the text in Protect Position if the tab 'follow the text flow' is turned on or not ... with 'protect position on or off? Is there a clear guide on what the various terms used in the 'Position and Size' window popup actually do? all the best d
WEIRD to use what looks like a Latin text. It would have been easy to understand the various wrap/no wrap effects if the language had at least, say, use short paragraphs of English, French, German etc. Using Latin means that only about 5% of viewers could read and understand and see where the image was over text. Apart from that - useful, but it could have been even clearer.
Kmt sir stop stating the obvious and tell us something that is not there looking us in the face by its icon button. How do we even get the functions to modify the image and use these things you showing us. Most importantly how do we remove the background from an image
...try to insert image that is a little bit smaller than page size , and then place another one and another - you will get some crazy show to manage
It's a shit system compared with even the earlier versions of word. Crazy minds at work. Yes it's free but the time taken is not really worth it.

I only get a frame, and not the chosen picture. I have tried both methods you recommend.

Thank you so much brooo
How do I move the image to the next site?
Wrapping text? Flowing text around an image?
My prob is I keep trying to paste an image in my second to last page. But when I do it shoots it up a few pages and changes the spacing of my texts.
Ikr? I hate that.

Didn't really show captions...
Right click..."Captions".
This wasn't all that complete
That's because it's highly counter-intuitive and complex. A bastard of a system.
