Your videos were extremely helpful. I used this one for my Italian documents ("and the Comune sent back the Euros I enclosed" ) along with my nonnas vital records and the "How to obtain your C-File" which both worked as advertised and they are free. Hi there, I sent my request about 2 months ago and still have not gotten mine yet. Im wondering if you included postage or any money to pay for postage and if you just used a regular sized envelope or something bigger? Thanks!
2021...it took 2-3 months and I expected it to be slow because of the pandemic. But this worked. No postage, no money, I asked for four copies and I received four copies. The only thing I had was all the correct information. I did give them an email address to yell at me but no problems.

Did you ever find out what to do regarding the comune? I am in the same situation! I only know that he was from Palermo and can't find any documents online.
Anyone know where to get the form? Looks like this site isn't active anymore :(
Do you have an Instagram page so we can talk about the Italian citizenships? Cause I’m still sooo confused 🤷🏼♂️ Thanks a lot
When putting in my Grandfathers birth date it shows dd/mm/yy. He was born in 1891. Can I list it as 17/April/1891? or should I list it as 17/04/91
What if there is no indirizzi municipi listed?
Is there no way to make these requests online? Seems strange to rely exclusively on snail mail in this day and age.
I was born in California and my father was born in Italy and is only an Italian citizen and never became a US citizen. I am just beginning to look into the dual citizenship process and I don't know what to do after I request his birth record. What next since he is not a US citizen.
I need to request my Italian birth certificate. Can I use the same form?
I can't download the form. Could you please sent it to me?
Excellent, and that you very much.
you web site address does not work?
it seems like both links do not work for me
Anyone have success emailing the comunes? Or is snail mail the best way to do this?
Unable to download or reach the website for the form
Someone posted updated link above.
Your website doesn't seem to exist anymore
Link for form no longer works. Anyone have a new one?
Would an email be acceptable instead of mailing it?
Is there not an email?
Hi, I recently sent a request for my grandfather's birth certificate after watching this. Thank You! It recently arrived at its destination in Italy. Question to anyone who did the same - Were you contacted by the Municipal you sent the information to? Did they confirm that they'd send you the birth certificate or did it just show up one day in the mail? Please give some context. Thank You!
Any update on this? How did you track it?
Hello - I am embarking on this process as an Italian-American descendant.
I would like to send an email via your contact page on the website and it looks like it has been infiltrated by spam. I keep getting advertisements for "Priligy". What is your contact email for questions? Thank you.
I have a question, im totally ready to follow your advice and go this route, however, I have a question... Is it possible that children born on the crossing from Italy would not have an Italian or an American birth certificate as in not registered in either location?
Did you find out how to get a birth certificate for a child?
Your info is very helpful and much appreciated! :)
Thanks! :)
Request a marriage certificate from the town where the bride lived in Italy. Often, a couple gets married in the bride’s hometown.
@@DIYItalianCitizenship Do I need to fill this in in Italian or English?
Too bad the website and all information is not there anymore.
