kadhi pakoda special kadhi pakoda easy kadhi pakoda kadhi phulki kadhi kaise banayein
ingredients:-
1 kg yogurt
1 cup gram flour- besan( 150 g )
3-4 green chilies
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds - methi
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp red chili powder
2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 1/2 tbsp salt
for pakoda:_
1/12 cup gram flour ( 200 g)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder
1/3 tsp turmeric powder
1/3 tsp baking soda
1 medium size onion
1 handful coriander leaves
2-3 green chilies
for tadka:-
1 medium size onion
1 tsp cumin seeds10-12 curry leaves
1/4 tsp heeng
4-5 whole red chilies
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 handful coriander leaves
4-5 green chilies

Drop a piece of mixture in water is the most important tip! Excellent - your pakora or phulki will not be too oily! This is the way my mom used to fry pakora in the 1960s and 1970s! I have seen so many recipe of karhi on you tube - none describes this secret!

My late mother used to make exactly this way excepting she used to soak the phulkiyan in a warm water with salt and hand squeeze the phulkiyan and pour into the kadhi before tampering. (no onions, mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves and dried chillies. Consistency of the kadhi should have more liquidity)
