Tasty!, always looking for any information to ID early US stamps. Some stamps have that line on the perfs, that helps. Thanks for this info, keep cranking those videos.
Thank you for the video Kyle. Really appreciate it. I still struggle with such small minute differences in the measurements though. I probably need a better perforation gauge
Thanks so much! Well, it definitely helped me, the absolute beginner! I have not even known yet about the two printing methods and that it is of importance for identifying stamps. 😆 ... Kyle, where can one buy that gauge?
Great video! Knowing how to tell the difference can be a game changer!
For sure!
Love that gauge! Best one I’ve found 🎉
Same!
Excellent and informative video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks!

Sure thing. You could always use the method at the end where you cut the corners off of the Franklin stamp.
@@KylesStamps yes I’m going to do that. I first saw that method on the Kenmore stamp company website. Thanks again for the video bro.
Awesome video ! Is that a linns multi gauge ?
It's made by Sonic Imagery Labs
To determine whether a stamp is flat plate or rotary, I scan the stamp, get the image upright and then measure the image.
That's one way to do it!
