While I was happy Balatro got as much attention as it did for an indie game at The Game Awards, I won't deny I was extremely disappointed that Nine Sols didn't even get a NOMINATION for the indie category. Its content and quality was enough to not just make my indie game of the year, but also my game of the year above all other.
TGA will always be disappointing for indie fans imo... It's been two years but I'm still incredibly salty Stray won Best Debut Indie over Tunic, despite the latter being imo one of the best indie puzzle games fuckin _ever_
Assuming I'm not getting jebaited I'm *astonished* that Joe didn’t already get spoiled about the whole P3 "suicide is how we summon our personas" thing. That’s like THE defining thing about P3. Man those streams are gonna be fun.
As someone already said, he knew about it but I believe only in passing? The intro might just be the first time he's seeing it in action, which you gotta admit, the imagery pops up kinda suddenly.

I'm sure he must have, if he played BioShock at some point. In his defense, this game throws out a lot of new names, and when everything is in all caps, it's hard to pick out what is a proper noun and what is a 'regular word'.
