I am amazed you are managing to podcast when you have a newborn. It really is a time when the head is muddled by sleep deprivation and hormones etc. Thank you for doing it anyway and enjoy your little one. They grow up so so fast. Your knitting is always very inspiring.
I've been swatching for a dad's sweater by emily curtis while listening to you chat! I love that you're just making it work with filming and newborn life, it was so sweet to hear Wilder's little babbles
Wilder's commentary was top tier! I'm in my Cabled Sock Era, so I'm currently working on the Peregrin Socks by Sari Nordlund, and am planning to cast on the Emma Socks by Yucca soon!
watching this is making me want to hurry and finish my current sock so I can cast on more 😆😻 currently knitting on the Everyday socks, Weekend hat, and October sweater by petite knit 😆
You look great!!! And still so funny 😆 pizza sock, the sign 😂. Have you done magic loop 2 at a time? I want to give it a try but …… 🤦🏻♀️ I need to watch 20 videos first
All of your socks are so beautiful! I’m currently knitting the Flax sweater from TinCanKnits! It’s a great free sweater pattern that comes in sizes for newborns all the way to adult men’s 🧶
Hahaha - when I was breastfeeding, I was sooo hungry, all the time. Perhaps you are too, as your socks all seem to look like food to you :) Thanks for a lovely episode!
I love your 'pizza' socks, but they reminded me of a fox 🦊, I was wondering if you'd love them more if you duplicate stitched a fox face on to it, maybe you'd then want to knit a second one or.....perhaps another colour combo to look like a different animal......
I'm currently knitting a newborn Verde cardigan in cotton for my friend who just announced her pregnancy - she doesn't knit so I figure cotton would be best, washing machine wise, plus it'll be a summer baby! One thing I'd love to hear, though that might not come straight away, is what knits are the most useful for babies! Cause I've noticed a lot of podcasters talk about their knitting for their babies, and I'd just love a review 6 months/a year in, about what was worn or not and so on. I really want to make mini baby socks out of all the leftovers from my own socks for example, and I can't figure out if the wool will be too scratchy or if babies wear socks over footie onesies or under!
Aw that’s so sweet, I’m sure she’ll love it! That’s a great idea, I just might have to make a whole video about that once he wears more of his knits. As for socks, I think as long as they’re small enough they’re practical! And maybe a weather appropriate fiber, lol
Oh my gosh! That little baby head peeking out on the thumbnail! I mean, I'm here for the socks, but heavens, the cuteness!

Just finished some baby things for a dear friend. Loved your chaotic video!

Haha I’m glad he’s welcome, we’re doing some major multitasking these days 😂 of course!

I love how you relate your socks to food 😂 and he’s getting so big! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I can relate pretty much everything to food 🙃 and he REALLY is!!

Shoot just do what I’m doing and cast on to no avail 😂 ahh so many good projects!!
You inspired me to knit my first pair! I also used the I’m so basic sock pattern and it’s so great especially for beginners. Thanks for the inspo 🧡
Aw that makes me happy! Happy sock knitting 🧶
Loved this video! And your sweet co host. Definitely need to repurpose the pizza sock! The yarn is super pretty
Thanks! And I just might 😜
Excellent Video

Your socks and baby boy are adorable! Also, now I want pizza 😂
Thank you! And same, pizza forever 🥲

Haha I’m glad someone gets my humor 😂 I haven’t, I’m in the same boat as you and I’m not sure I have the attention span 🙃

Thank ya! And ooooh so fun - I’ve had my eye on that pattern for awhile!

My baby wears socks with little onesie rompers that don’t have legs! Sometimes I put pants over with socks, and sometimes just socks :)
Are any of your sock patterns in a DK weight yarn?
What happened with your library socks?😊
I actually ended up frogging them cause I wanted the self striping yarn to shine more! I’ll probably just make a vanilla sock with that yarn :)
@@carsleehandmade ahhh I can’t wait to see how they turn out!😊
