Since they canceled this show, allow me to spoil the story. It was a con by Odin and Loki (masquerading as Mr. World) to pit the Old Gods against the New Gods. They failed.
Well in the book, Ganesha comes to shadow and asks him why he didn't pray to Ganesha bcoz he would've removed the obstacles in his path etc etc. Afterwards he gives him a clue saying "it's in the trunk" by hiding his mouse in his trunk (nose part). Later shadow gets the clue and realizes the missing kid is in the car trunk (car dicky as we say in India) and finds her body in the car. But the show simplified it by showing a Ganesha statue's trunk (nose part) glowing and suddenly he realises that the body is in the car trunk.
I loved S3 man. Really hoped for a s4 :(
