I bought one and compared to my 21st century and Dragon Models, it is a tad smaller from the 2 other versions. never the less a great collector piece to have.
Hey Steve my decision would be to use the Toyan. I agree with some of the others. That would make that Jeep more real feel. If that makes any sense. Take care bro.
I was hoping you would use the Toyan single because i just bought my second one ,to turn nitro ! Watching you build would help me with parts and build info . Guess I will have to wing it . Love your channel ! Keep up the fun . THX BEN V.
put the brass looking motor, by where the stock battery sit. then run a belt to stock motor location, to like a rear axle to change direction and to run stock transfer case. The brass looking motor looks like it is set up for belt drive. you can always change direction by using v drive or axle setup.
hi i need some help pretty fast because tommorow i buy rc car and idk what i should buy the jlb chetah j3 or the jlb chetah 21101 i prefer speed durability and quality, and what do you think about jlb they are good brand? say what u think its better for me, they both can run 4s? if yes it is safe to do it? pls answer it will help me so so much and i love your channel so much i come back to rc hobby
The logistics of installing the e-chine wouldn't allow you to keep the scale looks of the Jeep. You know how to accomplish installation of the Toyan, but I would wait for the twin!
I think the Toy End One would look more realistic, this amazing Jeep is on my Tick list Steve. Can't wait to see what you do to it bro. Great video as always 👍🇦🇺😁🇬🇧👍
build a custom old tractor for eachine chain drive off one side and have a little belt drive generator for it to pull around set it up at meets to charge stuff maybe run a light or something
I think that little Eachine won't have enough power even geared really low. Leaf springs and paint the head of the Toyan Olive Drab and it could almost pass as the dinky engine the Jeep came with.
If you could get your hands on the see-through Toyan and replace the lexan head with a metal one that won't melt, I'd say use that in this thing. The real jeep had a flathead I4 so it makes sense the RC gets a flathead too!
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Yes they are .But good reason .I do understand though . Maybe one day you can get one .I personally would love to see your creativity on that job . I bet it would be awe inspiring
Awesome vid Steve, You're like me.. when you like something.. buy two of them!!... Spares!! Thinking the Toyan mate.. the Eachine won't have the torque to make it run properly.. over easy stuff yes but as a "crawler" no way. .. and installation won't be easy at all... At least with the Toyan you've done it before... me personally.. buy the best sound generator and smoke machine and hook that up and cut sik! these gorgeous models are far too good to cut up and modify hey... it's just me and my opinion... THOUGH...I would love an old say the old venerable T-55 tank with a Toyan on board.. there's something for you Brother...cooling might be an issue but hey...4 stroke Tankage!!!
What about ripping out all the transmission and fitting the eachine with a belt drive to a gear box and transfer box. Would be a bitch of a job but would be cool when its done. You could even use a chain drive......be very steampunk! What ever you do, its gonna be awsome when its finished........keep safe, cheers!
Steve, I think either way you go it will be super sick!! However i think for what you want to achieve the Toyan would be the best bet. It will be a challenge no matter what, with the right kind of paint or detailing i believe the Toyan would be a better scale fit. P.S. I love your willy’s!!!! HA HA HA!!!
Hey I am having some issues with my ofna rc buggy hope somebody can help me. When I take it out for a run it will die almost straight away or after a few minutes. It has been sitting for awhile now and it won’t let me charge the batteries (lipo) as they are too low voltage. Should I just buy new batteries (they are very old) or do you have any suggestions thanks
I got the 1/12 scale fixing to get the 1/6 scale my q is after I turn on my jeep and my controller on it keeps running but I can steer it and other things but my trigger won't do anything what could be the problem
been working on this rc all night I found my problem I took the controller apart and 1 of the wire plug ins came loose works great now@@RCTanksTrucks247

Ayan
Eachine definitely I think that would be interesting to see and would suit the old Jeep look
Use the new Eachine engine, that would be cool.
Convert to leaf springs like the original, then you can remove the shock towers and the Toyan would look great in there.
Good thinking
Yeah my one disappointment with these rochobby jeeps is the coil overs! They had leaf springs and coil overs are not scale at all!
I agree go leaf spring to make it scale and then do the toyan.
I bought one and compared to my 21st century and Dragon Models, it is a tad smaller from the 2 other versions. never the less a great collector piece to have.
Definitely a great model
Hey Steve my decision would be to use the Toyan. I agree with some of the others. That would make that Jeep more real feel. If that makes any sense. Take care bro.
Love these swaps! Can't wait for you to do your thing!!!
Is Willy's jeep MB 1941 1/6 RC 4 stroke engine convertible?
Show me when you're done!
That's a great channel!
Toyan would be good, the Eachine is a stationary engine to drive saws, pumps etc.
I was hoping you would use the Toyan single because i just bought my second one ,to turn nitro ! Watching you build would help me with parts and build info . Guess I will have to wing it . Love your channel ! Keep up the fun . THX BEN V.
Thanks mate. Tight fit for the Toyan engine unfortunately
What ever engine you use will be freaking cool man and can't wait to see it come to fruition.
I think it would be cool to see the brass looking one because it’s more unique. Fingers crossed 🤞 that it has the torque
I think it would be bad ass if you put it in that all metal crawler that you recently did the video on that came from Banggood!!!
The sound of the motor is really cool i will see this in the jeep working, but this would be very hard to make. I think.
Cheers

I want it in the original position under the hood though

Wait for 2 cylinder Toyan. I think that's slightly smaller than the single cylinder.
Ahh OK, I will check it out
You could use the eachine engine but it has so little power and such low rpm that you'd have to do some sort of manual clutch, and a slow moving jeep
Yeah man, definitely
Keep those little engine videos coming!
One of those company’s , I believe DIY engine said that there coming out with a kit build with that Jeep. Have you heard that?
Nope, not yet would be cool tho
I would try the two cylinder Toyan. Waiting for mine to arrive 😀
Nice 😊
Fit the Toyan or if the 2 cyl isnt going to be far away wait for that one and fit that
Interesting conversions
Thanks
Go for the Toyan as it will look better and will have more power in the 1/6 scale
The logistics of installing the e-chine wouldn't allow you to keep the scale looks of the Jeep. You know how to accomplish installation of the Toyan, but I would wait for the twin!
Wow very cool
The single cylinder is super cool but the Toyan would be the way to go. I'll be waiting to see what you do.
Very nice.
You can also get rid of the power boost box from the Toyan and it should fit it quite easily.
If you want to use the Eachine engine then you should make it chain drive
Toyan all the way !!! Nice project brotha ....
I love this stuff
I think that little Eachine won't have enough power even geared really low. Leaf springs and paint the head of the Toyan Olive Drab and it could almost pass as the dinky engine the Jeep came with.
The inline 2cyl might be the better option.
Looks awesome as well

Check out the Conley V8 .Incredible
Yeah seen them but are hella expensive
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Yes they are .But good reason .I do understand though . Maybe one day you can get one .I personally would love to see your creativity on that job . I bet it would be awe inspiring
Let's do the basic toyan 'cause it looks a bit better when you pop open the hood
I thought that the high-end motor would look cool, but the toy end looks a little more scale and probably would turn out better anyway
Awesome vid Steve, You're like me.. when you like something.. buy two of them!!... Spares!! Thinking the Toyan mate.. the Eachine won't have the torque to make it run properly.. over easy stuff yes but as a "crawler" no way.

Do you think it’s possible to convert these to leaf springs
Use the single in a tractor, or paddle steamer ?
I don’t know if you’ve seen those Filipino outrigger Trimaran Fishing boats, that engine sounds just like those.
Yep, definitely know what you mean
Those hit and miss engines arnt that great under load but it could be really cool to see

The Toyan has been done to death as they say but your call, you have to do the work.
Use the toyan engine and save the Eachine engine for a tractor or something more realistic to the motor
You should still do this !
Steve, I think either way you go it will be super sick!! However i think for what you want to achieve the Toyan would be the best bet. It will be a challenge no matter what, with the right kind of paint or detailing i believe the Toyan would be a better scale fit. P.S. I love your willy’s!!!! HA HA HA!!!
Haha 😂 Much appreciated brother
Make one of each
Time poor 😊
You won't have anywhere near the torque needed for any sort of rock crawling, if that is the intended use.
Actually works fine.
I think the Toyan would be best
Yeah man
God please try to stuff that little eachine engine in that Jeep
Show! !👏👏👏👏👏👏
Toyan
The toyan might look more like the original engine
Covert it to leaf springs like an actual Willys and use the toyan
Alot of work and not enough time
@@RCTanksTrucks247 id like to see one of these toyan engines with some hours on it, I wonder how they hold up in the long run.
EACHINE PLACED FORWARD THEN SEND A BAND DOWN TO A TRANSMISSION LIKE A NITRO SIDEWAYS

It is more fun if you put the old 4 stroke engine, so that it will suite in the 1941 jeep...
Put a engine inside a cougar 6x6 mrap ambush protected vehicle 1/12 ?
Still too big. Not enough room to make it look scale
👍🏻
Do the new one
The hit and miss engine would look great but the responsiveness just isnt there
Yeah absolutely. That's what I was worried about too.
