same can be said for Palestine then don't grumble about it , you support Palestine because you share religion with them this is not surprising for general public and down play the every wrong doing till it becomes to defend whether in india or middle east.
Truely a very balanced discussion about the plight of Palestinians and the various possible scenarios to which the present crisis could turn . Taking all into account it isa serious matter for the entire world if more actors jump into the fray and things go out of control it is said a matter of concern the entire world

The factors that involved American withdrawal are different from the current middle East crisis. Americans tested all its weapons and it held that place for as long as it was profitable for companies that benefited from the war

People in India at large should stop for a moment and pay respects to the Indian freedom movement architect the Mahatma. The learned professor said that the Palestinians haven't had the leadership that they deserved. Palestinians leadership either the Fatah which not sure what they do not the Hamas who engaged in arms resistance have been able to provide the requisite leadership. For a moment lets look back at our freedom struggle and bow our heads to the very nature of the leadership and the decision to take civil disobedience and non violence as the cornerstone of our struggle. Take a bow to the Mahatma. If we had turned to armed resistance the westren world would have no hesitation in calling them as terrorists and worse. Winston Churchill still called the Mahatma as a terrorist.
Take a bow to Nelson Madela as well and the path he followed later in his struggle to end apartheid in SA. His relentless pursuit to share power with whites and follow the path of restoration, restitution, repartition and forgiveness after he became the president.
The world at large and India in particular seems to have forgotten these lessons and have embarked a path of mutual destruction. The violence and call for genocide in various sansads in name of protection of religion is akin to the calls given by KKK of the confederates and other such calls keeping religion as it's center. We haven't learned anything from the past and will blindly follow so called leaders to destruction.

What Israel is doing is very much the plan Ab Lincoln did to Lakota Nations as US aggressively grabbed Native American lands. After Abraham Lincoln brutally massacred and supressed Lakota upraising, he divided lakotas into small tiny cantons and restricted movements within these pockets. Until you address who initiated these escalations, I don't believe you're having a fair discussion. After October 7th, Israel responded, but who caused and supported what happened on October 7th? If you weren't prepared, why start this in the first place? No one supports actions against civilians, but if you're attacking others and using your own civilians as shields, then these consequences are inevitable.
