I recognized so many of the places in these videos. Seeing the riders all over those roads are what got me into riding. I can't wait to get my bike over there.
I just noticed you actually wear your Spot on your jacket as a Ranger I wanted to say THANK YOU for using your head I see so many people mount these on the motorcycle it is a worthless piece of equipment on the bike . Be Safe ""RIDE ON""

Heading on gravel, to Sage Hen Res. "Idaho", for an Overnighter, when outa somewhere, merged a young cow and i ricocheted off from it, but stayed upright. A few miles down the road, I noticed my "stuff" on the back didn't look the same. Stopped and discovered I had a melted bungee and "no sleeping bag". A buddy found it and said,... "Yeah, but it's got a hole in it." it too, was a melted, crusty, mess. Brand new melted bag, used that one night and then, it went straight into the dumpster.
Ah man. I’m sorry to hear that. It’s happened to me more than once now. I have started keeping extra bags in storage to replace them quickly if needed. Not fun. But it makes good stories … it’s An adventure.
I’ve met that guy and his German Shepherd’s several times while out riding. he moves around living off grid super nice guy I always stop and chat with him.
Loving your videos man. I'm new to ADV riding. Just bought a 390 Adventure at Sloans last month. I live down in Manchester near Bonaroo. I'd love to ride sometime. Hit me up if you ever want to come down and cruise some of these beautiful Coffee county roads or up on Monteagle. I don't know anyone near me who ADV rides. That Elote looked like Mas Tacos in East Nashville. Keep up the awesome work. Love the scripture at the end.

Great videos! Please give some details how you plan routes and which maps you use. I've ridden my GS all over the country but new to off road adventures.
Hey Bob. I find maps that people are offering or selling. Many of them are free. Some are not. I Google search for dual sport and adventure maps and find things in different areas. I use garmin basecamp to organize the GPX files and load onto the gps unit. Just talking to people you find places to ride. That’s what I do a lot. Thanks for watching my videos. Hey, love your videos! Could you help with a question? I see you have a KTM dual sport, on big trips that rack up a lot of miles, how do you do service? Do you carry oil or plan to be in a spot where you can service the bike? Thanks!
I can go a long way before I have to change oil. Service in this bike is super easy. The exact 500 is an amazing choice for long rides. Glad you are loving these vids. Let’s ride
This has me absolutely intrigued. Whats the longest mileage trip you’ve made in a day and how does that coincide with service intervals for your KTM there ???
For the Ktm 500 we do 150-180 miles per day. Service is done befor and after a long trip Air filter is checked daily to make sure it isn’t dirty. I have found the Ktm 500 to be the most robust bike. It’s my go to for most dual sport stuff these days. Have never had an issue

If you want to be aggressive and have a bike you can really rip them there isn’t a better bike. If you just want to do dual sport and have fun then there are lots of great options. What I love about the Ktm 500 is it’s a dirt bike that I can throw around on dirt and it’s street legal. I ride mostly dirt. And lots of public roads. I also ride single track. This bike does it all and does it well. I have a bigger bike for adv riding

That 890 is an excellent adv bike capable of much more than I ever expected.

I don’t own it. But easy to find if you Google it. Look for the Smokey mountain 500 GPX
