Simple, elegant, practical, but still beyond the price range of most working Americans. I live in Charlotte, N.C., and it’s so distressing to see that most new housing being offered are in the $800,000 - $1,000,000. range. We now have homes here going for more than 10 million dollars! Sometimes occupied by only one or two people. No thought to the Earth and global warming. No wonder we are so hated worldwide.
Here in Portugal the expensive part is the land. Building from a contractor with all ready to live in is close to 1200~1400€/Sq meter. Something like this would cost 100k + land cost
I heard many people saying Portugal housing is cheap comparing with other european’s countries prices. So you actually have this for 100-200k?!
Same in Ireland and in most other countries. I saw 3 houses advertised yesterday in Dublin between one and three million euros. A small percentage of people hold most of world wealth while 70% approx; have to work all their lives just to pay for a house. It's scandalous.
Complete inequality leads to collapse of civilisations. We can see it in social unrest, increase in homelessness, mental stress illnessess and poor standards of living and physical health.
it's not just you. i moved from tx to fl during covid. pre and post covid house hunting is like night and day for me. i get stressed out just looking at the prices.

While I agree that multilevel mixed-use housing is the solution for many regions in the world, there is also a need for modern, energy-efficient homes in deep rural areas, with a low population density. If this kind of design could be produced in a modular format in volumes that can keep costs to a minimum, it can really improve the quality of life of people living in such remote rural regions. Thank you for sharing!

Cette maison est magnifique c'est tout à fait mon style mets il faudrait que la 2 chambre soit plus grande pour le lit plus d'espace et plus de meubles dans la cuisine également une buanderie et au niveau de la véranda extérieure sur le toit une porte télécommandée pour ouvrir et fermer et également mettre des vitres sur le côté qui s'ouvre et qui se ferme en hiver 🥰

muito interessante o projeto, gosto de casa térrea, janelas, portas de vidros, com vista externa bem ampla. olhei outros projetos do canal e uma coisa que gostaria de entender, nunca tem uma área de serviço, lavanderia? pode usar lavanderias pagas ok, mas não ter um espaço para lavar um pano de prato já é demais kkk brasileiro não sabe viver em uma casa sem uma área de serviço :)))

It is huge... if you add the sqmt of each room you get almos 118 sqmt, that translates to 1270sqft. It is too big and its got almost nothing. A waste of space.

The whole entry can be converted into a storage space. This works as a family retreat, not a suburban home.

Several options are possible. I would choose aerated concrete blocks and reinforced concrete ceiling.
Superbe maison. Si elle était pour moi j’aurai mît la,porte de la pièce nommée « utilitaires » qui s’ouvre sur la cuisine, afin de pouvoir y avoir accès lorsque je souhaite y ranger certains appareils ou aliments en plus, sans avoir à faire le tour pour rentrer dans cette pièce. De plus voir pour insérer des fils d’etentage ou une tour à linge lorsque l’on doit étendre la machine de linge, sinon ça faire vite désordre dans une maison lorsque la tour à linges est visibles, à mettre dans la pièce de la machine à laver pour gagner en praticité.
Is it possible to build a similar house without spending a lot?
House is nice. However something not making sense for me. Dimensions of 12x13 meters is not 85m2. I own a 90m2 home and don't see that layout working there. My home is 10x9. Do you have a bigger version of your plans available just to look at dimensions?
Bei einem eigenen Haus darf meiner Meinung nach eine kleine Speisekammer und eine Waschküche oder Hausarbeitszimmer nicht fehlen, dass man mal was liegen lassen und die Tür zumachen kann.
Śliczny domek, ale zupełnie nie na polskie warunki. Jak z klepicha wejść od razu do salonu, gdzie ściągnąć okrycie wierzchnie i buty? W Hiszpanii super się sprawdzi, tylko kominek nie pasuje 😊

Poco realista ! Ese techo en l realidad es imposible y sin vereda perimetral sube humedad y se ensucia la fachada . La mesa de afuera hay que entrarla cuando llueve y en invierno . Los vidrios tan grandes deben ser dvh y encarece mucho, diría que de simple no tiene nada esa casa y que jamás quedará ni cerca de lo que muestran

Comentarios como el tuyo no debería estar existiendo tampoco. Y qué hacemos de las personas que tienen minusvalía motora? Que no pueden andar ni subir escaleras? De las personas mayores que tienen problemas en las rodillas? O de la gente que simplemente quiere vivir en una sola planta porque tienen niños pequeños y no quieren correr riesgo de tener accidentes? Pensar en el medio ambiente está bien. Pero también hay que pensar en categorías de gente vulnerable
