I bought a pair of the OpenFit a few days ago, and I love them. I have used Powerbeat Pros and these are far better in terms of comfort and sound quality. There is very little leakage - my super-sensitive bat-eared husband cannot hear when I am using these in close proximity. I have tested them with classical, rock and audio books/podcasts. All worked brilliantly. They are super-lightweight and I have also tried cycling, rowing, dancing and doing yoga using them - these do not budge, sound quality is constant.
2 things about openswim pro while swimming. 1. Bluetooth doesn’t work in water for any device. 2. The sound quality when underwater is about 90% of the quality of them when out of the water. REMEMBER: switch To the water mode. Thank me later lol
@ good question. Turn them on, hold both vol up and vol down buttons to switch to mp3 mode. Then hold the vol down button till you hear it beep and say “swimming mode”. Hold it down again till it beeps and says “ normal mode” to switch back. Hops that helps
Hey Mark, appreciate the video and love your content. I bought the Oladance OWS Sport based on your review and this device sucks. Even with their customer support line. The device stopped working after 2 months and went dead, despite normal use and having been taken care of well. Do you have a direct link to them on how to contact them since I am not the only one that experienced this with their product? Appreciate the support and help!
It’s the closest I’ve come to replacing my bows because I have small ears and they fit in my ears always hurt with in her earbuds. I hate them. I bought mine at Sam’s Club for 130 and I love them and they really nicely.
Bluetooth doesn’t work through water. This applies to any brand. If you can download it to your Mac, you can drag and drop to your open swim. I am an apple fan, and i have loads of songs in the mp3 hard drive.
For the Openswim, did they ever update the volume when pressing the multifunction button? My Openruns make this horrid beep whenever using it regardless of volume level. It's jarring when listening quietly when you need to pause and hear this massive beep in your ears.
I recently got the Open Run Pro 2's and the beeping is toned down a lot but you can also adjust the volume of it through the app (Tried it again on my original Pro's, but there's still no way to turn it down)
What's the most active thing you've done while wearing earbuds?
er.. working
Get them JBL soundgear sense pretty great too
Once you try open ear technology you just don't want anything else. Such a great buds for active people 😊

For me, it would have to be the OpenSwim Pro as I do commute, gym and swim.
Ordered my OpenFit Air yesterday and they will arrive today. I will be using them while at work to break the loneliness

Can you use the OpenFit Air headphones one ear at a time? I listen to mostly podcasts and TH-cam.
Yes you can
@markellisreviews can you drag music podcasts into them? and how is the sound underwater if you aren't wearing earplugs?

Shokz is expensive but lasts a long time , I still have the old Aeropex which still works.

How do they compare to the Oladance OWS sport you previously reviewed?
Is it normal for me to hear noises and conversations while turning noise cancellation on, on wh 1000 xm5 while not listening any music.
Will these connect to an Apple Watch? Just thinking that would be a way of streaming podcasts etc while swimming without a phone.
Unfortunately I’ve tried swimming while streaming from watch, doesn’t work, you gotta switch over to mp3 mode

One month late, but I cannot agree more. The beeps are unnecessarily loud.
Never tried the old version, but the beeping on my swim pro is not intrusive at all

Original OpenFit sounds better (more focused bass response) than the OpenFit Air, in my opinion.
I watch videos to buy some nice devices❎
