I can keep making these proper earbud reviews if you guys want. There are tons of earbuds I want to try now. Huawei free clips, Sound Core C30i.. I just wont be able to rock them for some time to give a thorough and honest review.
Just got the older Shokz Open Fit and loving them, coming from Airpods Pro 2 for use on desktop PC they are a nightmare. Apple disconnects constantly over Bluetooth on PC, I have tinnitus from ear injury in both ears and plugging the ear canal with Airpods make the tinnitus much more noticeable while working, it may have even made the tinnitus worse over time using noise canceling mode. I used to wear over the ear Senheizer headphones, but I've found as I got older my face heats up too much wearing those for long periods of time, and they're just uncomfortable. So far Shokz Open Fit are the best I've found for my needs.
You have absolutely nailed the touch control issue on these and other touch controls in general. If these had a physical button, they would be nearly perfect for me.
I have the old one. I wouldn't get the 2nd one because 1. I wear glasses and prefer the slimmer OG. Plus I don't like the silver addition. I prefer discreet all black OG.
@@tigre9271 I agree. I could have added that the finish on the Openfit feels a bit "sportier" vs the Openfit Air can feel more elegant, that outer ear lobe a bit glossy.
@Aesthetic_Al All that said, I actually prefer OLADANCE Open Air. The sound and bass are far superior than the Shokz. But the Oladance are a bit bulkier. But once on, I don't notice that much of a difference. I also bought the Bose Ultra Fit Open Air which o haven't received yet. I wanted to try them because they don't hook over ear.
what earbuds/headphones do you recommend for the gym ? That don’t fall off I currently have the AirPods 3rd generation and those fall off of me constantly when moving around a lot .
if you are looking for well secure. Earbuds with a wing tip is what i would recommend. Look at the Beats Fit Pro, Power Beats, JBL Reflect Aero, Soundcore life. Openfit are great for outdoor but i personally dont use them often in the gym. Hope this helps
Do you know if you can use the app to disable touch controls on the OpenFit and/or OpenFit Air? That's important to me and I can't find the information anywhere.
Great review, I own the openrun pro, but with my long, curly hair and piercing I find them uncomfortable, also whenever with a hoodie on. On a different note- Do you have an opinion on the soundcore aerofit? I’d love to hear
did you test them riding a bike in wind? You mentioned the older openfit are louder, so in a breeze riding at 15mph+ maybe the older ones are better. thoughts?
These are not great whilst riding your bike. Mine fell off on two occasion and it’s very easy to knock them off when putting on or removing your helmet.
Great info! My airpods actually dropped out of my ear yesterday with cars behind me, so you can guess what happened 😢 OpenFit seems to be a decent open but i was immediately thinking about the wind and also how they fit with glasses
there a way to adapt them to one’s ears, do you know ? I find that I hear better when I press the speakers downwards lightly but they come back up when I realease the pressure… 😢
how do you define for the mic of openfit air vs openfit? in this video, I only watch the mic for openfit air is good enough for phone call though not teleconference meeting. wanna buy some change from old device of buds to newer model for everyday life. for work, already settle to stay with definite headphone like jabra talk
Which would you recommend for listening to podcasts/audiobooks while running? 🤔I was thinking about purchasing this model for the cheaper price but the volume comparison between the 2 was a bit shocking!
@@Aesthetic_Al Gotcha, I appreciate the reply and review of earbuds! Honestly you're the only youtuber I have found that really seems to cover "everything" when it comes to running/fitness tech. Thanks again!

I bought SHOKZ OpenFit and am very disappointed in the audio quality, the lack of volume and although very comfortable they are easy to lose. I’ve had them fall off my ear on several occasions and the last time I totally lost one. Sadly, the customer service at SHOKZ was very poor and they tell me they don’t sell single replacements. I prefer the audio quality of my AirPods over these or if you prefer better comfort Sennheiser on ear headphones.
My Open Fit’s lasted 5 rides, refusing to charge, sound awesome but seems very sensitive to moisture from sweat and rain while riding. Zero response from Shokz so back to my OpenRun’s, pass on the Air’s…
I bought thois used them for about 24 hours, the sonud was weak, the eq settings were abysmal, the normal was flat, the EQ settings are useless I used 5 below earbuds with better sound, way over price for what they are returned them; I got the Tozo open buds and they are much better than this one,.

yes please do those 2 specifically.
JBL soundgear sense are great
Tozo open buds

I’ve been using for a week now the Nothing Open ear. They have pinch controls 🙌 video coming up cooking up a banger video
I appreciate the part that you did the test in the rain, and I really hate when you are unable to control de headphones because they are wet
Now I don’t feel so bad for recently buying the old version. Thanks!
You’re good bro 👍 the Air isn’t a replacement to the original OpenFit. (Budget version)
I just bought the old version too

The transition at 2:06 is dope!!!
Me again, went here right after the bose - shokz comparison. Guess it saved me 60 more bucks. Thanks and keep it up.
excellent! thanks for mentioning glasses.

Love this so much great work loved watching. You made it fun
How is the sound quality ? Do these open ear earbuds compare at all with the sound quality of a decent sealed earbud?
Nice review! Can I please ask you what’s the model and color of that 47 Brand cap?
Stepped on my open fits and broke them 3rd pair might try these now
Great demonstration, what would you recommend for a road cyclist, bone or open air. 🇬🇧
Thanks for the mic test!
You bet! Thanks for the support fam 🙏

Great video! Please do a review of the Jabra elite 8 active!!
You’re not the first to request this 🫡
Thanks for the support brother

I would go with the Air tbh. Keep in mind if you have them over 80% volume you do get sound noticeable sound leakage on “OpenFit”.

This is why I prefer buttons.
Awesome edit 😍😍
Good review mate.
Does it still discharge when remove from the case? The openrun & pro doesnt discharge eventho not in use.
@Aesthetic_Al in term sound which is better openfit air or openfit?
Have u tried the Soundcore Aerofit Pro?
Not yet!!
The sound is a bit better on the Shokz.
how does this compare to Shokz Openrun pro
Can you please compare this with Soundcore Airo fit 🙏
What running belt do you use?
🤝here you go: amzn.to/4db0Z9O
Do they actually stay white from you testing them? i wanna get them in white but feel like they will stain and start looking dirty later on
They’ll stay white 👍. I’m still logging miles on these. Summers been brutal over here 🥵
Anything is touch control I just give up and just use my phone for volume and answer the phone
If price wasn’t a consideration would you get these or the Bose Ultra Open?
You can get these and still have money left. The Bose aren’t that much of an improvement to be worth such a price difference
Great video!
Does somebody knows which bracelets he uses at 6min29?

I'm just going to stick with my gen 1 airpods until they die. I hope they keep making these because I hate ear buds with the rubber nipple
My gf just ran the LA marathon with the same 1st gen AirPods 😆, she prefers them over all the earbuds I have 🤦
@@Aesthetic_Al They don't completly plug the ear hole!
I have Open Fit (original)
No complain

Best earbuds ever
plz review the sonos headphones
🥲 I want too but they are pricey tho.
