Angelina covers the extremely difficult Oscar-winning song by two of the greatest female voices in music history and, with her Angelina's spirit, turns it into something spectacularly new and more than does justice to the original. perfect is an understatement here. I'm sure I'm in the minority here but I'm not the biggest fan of Angelina covering Whitney and other singers like her. I feel like she's consistently straying too far from her jazz/blues roots. To be honest I'm not the biggest Whitney Houston fan and I think she's kind of overrated. I'm even less a fan of Mariah Carey. It just seems to me that some of the latest covers by Angelina, while certainly beautifully sung, don't have quite the emotional connection for me that some of her earlier stuff did.
