- Piranhas are notorious for their carnivorous nature, and a scenario where piranhas feed on a carp would likely involve swift, coordinated attacks. When a school of piranhas encounters a carp, they may exhibit aggressive behavior, swiftly converging to strip flesh from the carp's body. The feeding process is marked by rapid bites and powerful jaws, capable of tearing through the carp's scales and flesh. Piranhas are known for their razor-sharp teeth, which they use to puncture and shred their prey. The feeding frenzy can be intense, with the carp becoming the center of attention as the piranhas vie for their share of the meal. This interaction is a testament to the predatory instincts of piranhas and their ability to efficiently dismantle larger prey. Have a good day! Thanks for watching.

I didn't know that my six year old nephew was silently watching from behind me. He finally spoke up and said, "dang, uncle B, how cool was that !". Great video. Love your videos.
Glad you liked my video. Thank you!
Technically this is not an 'invasive carp' . It's a common carp that's considered to US as a pest species. They don't contribute the amount of destruction in the US environment versus Australia, and the real baddies are the Asian Carp. Silver carp, bighead carp, black carp and grass carp came in the US around the mid 20th century whilst people introduce common carp in the early 19th century when the government allowed it for food chain.
I'm saying give common carp in America some respect of its origin and habits. We respect the koi for their colors and distribution, and the common carp is literally the koi's wild species contribution of farming for thousands of years.
Common carp in North America are not injurious or aggressive non native species. Glad your piranhas fed well.
Guys the carp is INVASIVE don't u see so stop saying that the fish is innocent the piranhas are hungry and are teaching him a lesson
ummm american citizens are invasive ! does that mean they should be tortured and filmed ?
I used to own a black mask elongatus in a 75gal for 10 years. Died on me changing the water. How hard are these to keep? and I assume you will change the water after a feed like this ? and that you do this very rarely.
Ya, I do live feeding very rarely. I feed them pellets and cleaned dead market fish daily. Piranhas are not really spoiled creatures to keep, as long as your filter is clean and always on. You really need a power backup if there's a long power blackout.
Doesn't happen quite like how we would think? Interesting how they go for its fins first. Makes sense.
It's crazy to watch them strategically attack their prey..😎
That pleco is like - Am I next in line to be eaten??! 😂
thanks there so so good i like to watch
Thanks for watching 😊
This is cool. How did you get a hold of na Asian carp?
Hi there. I bought them online, bred them, and now i have plenty of them.
people say this is a bad thing to do, feeding live fish to piranhas
…the asian carp is invasive
So are humans lol
Just because a species is invasive doesn't mean it deserves to be tortured.
Its not the fishes fault it was brought here from a different country....a human did.
@@RYU583Plus the common carp is not an invasive species in USA. They're pest species. Their purpose at the beginning was used for food, since Common carp were the oldest farm fish in aquaculture history. They're not as destructive as the asian carps by comparison, yet people tend to put them with it by whim
Wow,that was devastating! However interesting to see how piranha, seem to organise their attack , bit by bit , before the final frenzy. Quite amusing seeing Pleco fish coming out from nowhere to take a bite .😂
I'm glad you found the piranhas feeding behavior fascinating. That Pleco, is always taking advantage of the situation and grabbing a quick bite. 👀
@@piranhasworldIm surprised they don't attack the pleco, Im guessing its a species that they naturally live around in the wild that has developed some defense against them?
I thougt they would eat the carp completely
Yes they eat the carp completely in 24hrs.
I feel bad for your filters lmao
It's a strong a55 filter. 😊
😋👍
🤩👍🏻
Awesome, so what size tank is that?
Thank you. About 93 gal
My Question Is Why They Don’t Feed On Each Other ?
Hi there. Piranhas primarily focus on finding prey rather than attacking each other.
Cool, I'm thinking about getting some babies. I had never seen black piranhas before. Beautiful colors. I love to see them in their natural state as nature intended, not as an individual perception of what ppl think they should be.
Those are not black piranhas. These are red belly piranhas. Black piranhas grow much bigger, are way more aggressive, and are much more expensive and rare than red belly piranhas. You will almost never find a black pirahna in a local fish store like the red bellies. You will have to get them online. Black piranhas also cannot live in packs like the red bellies because they are super aggressive so they have to live by themselves and people who keep the black ones always have them in tanks alone.
Excellent! ❤️
Hey just curious, where do you live?
Earth
Damn turned homie to bone! What is that shark lookin thing that comes for sloppy seconds and why aren't the piranha eating it? Do they ever eat each Other? Sick setup you got here my guy 💪
"shark looking thing is an Algae eater (:
Good feed. Love it. Can you feed them an octopus? 😅 🐙
Yes it was on my list.
fvkn sweeet! keep doin ur thing man, ignore the haters!
Snow flakes shouldn't watch this 🤘😜
It was an act of cruelty, in my personal view. Why not give them dead fish rather than live fish? That poor fish died in such a horrific way.
That's nature I'm afraid
I appreciate your empathy towards the fish in the video. The live feeding of fish to piranhas is actually a common practice in many aquariums and zoos. It serves as a way to provide them with a stimulate their instinct and balanced diet. Keep in mind that the fish used for live feeding are typically bred specifically for this purpose and are raised in controlled environments.
AWW THIS IS WHAT U CALL CYCLE OF LIFE SUX IT UP PAL
Nature is cruel, take it up with nature’s creator.
Asian carp is an invasive species in the Great Lakes with no natural predator. Let them have their fill.
