  • Oscar fish is one of my favourite fishes. They are good predators in the water. Catching Molly fishes or small fishes is their most powerful skill. They are much faster than Arowana or other fishes. Do you believe someone feed it with mouse and snake? By the way, the oscars fishes in the video are not my fishes. Let's have watch on their catching skills.
Great Oscar fish food and accessories:

    - amzn.to/2Yb7CE5 (pellets)

Had a couple Oscars when I was a kid. One of them was different. Its was real friendly and if you put your had in the tank, it would swim over and want to be petted. They were both very smart and could see what you were doing outside the tank. I could stand 6 feet away from the tank holding an earthworm. They would see it wigglling around and go crazy. They absolutely loved earthworms. During the summer months, it didnt cost me anything to feed them because my buddy's little sister and her friends would be constantly feeding them all kind of bugs and worms.

Extremely irresponsible feeding these fish like this. Dumping fish into a tank straight from the bag introduces parasites and other water contamination. Feeding terrestrial animals ( rats, snakes and beef heart ) introduces unnatural protein sources the Oscars digestive system. The fish will have great difficulty breaking down this type of protein. This irresponsible behavior also introduces the Oscars to physical harm from the terrestrial animals fighting back. Oscars naturally eat snails, insects, crustaceans and small fish. They never or very very seldom naturally eat terrestrial animals. Oscars are not Muskie, large mouth bass or piranha which will target birds, frogs and mammals but even they occasionally do this. This is nothing short of animal abuse and shows criminal behavior on behalf of the owner of the fish.

Oscars don’t eat such food items in the wild they primarily consume crustaceans, insects and the occasional small fish. Clearly your the individual who hasn’t done their research. It usually helps to do such before posting a comment.

Ik you're not trying to justify literally torturing creature that would never meet in the wild for views.
But I'll answer your question: Yes, infact there's a very large difference.
-Idk what kind of meat you've consumed, but has your meal ever had to suffocate/drown *while* you ate it?
      - Unless you're a sicko, the meat we eat is deceased & was killed as humanly fast as possible. _(Via throat slice, neck break, skull smash, or heart stab.)_
      - idk abt you, but I've never heard of human being thrown into an element that their lungs can't function just in to fight to the death while drowning. Also while trying to escape an animal they have not chance of escaping.
But hey, if you like watching creatures being slowly tortured, you do you little psychopath.

If Oscar eats the fish in the fish tank, I think it's okay, because the fish belongs in the water, and in the fish tank.
But if you feed a snake or a white mouse to a Oscar, I think it's a slaughter. When one day your Oscar grows very big, will you feed it with dog and the cat?

    • @joelgerman8216
      @joelgerman8216 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Yeah, I'm actually mildly horrified by the snake (just drowning this land creature until can slurp it up) and so horrified by the mouse I just chose not to watch it (coming from someone who's decapitated animals, in the literal jungle, because I came across them in agonizing conditions [like their entire legs missing/ spine exposed type of shit after being attacked by another animal]). It's just not right/ WHY?
Ultimately, really, WHY. Fuck everything else I said. WHY? Cause it's fun and/or funny to watch? Then that's just kinda objectively mentally sick (like 0 debating it lol). It's amazing to see the power of this fish (I had no idea/ didn't realize they could live a decade+ so this is my intro to these fish); but as a keeper? That's nothing new to you; I assume you're not throwing mice in your fish tank experimentally. You knew the fish would down it cause I'm positive you've tried it before/ saw it for yourself somewhere else and wanted to exert that godly control over another mammal (the one we use to test everything on because they're mammals with freakishly similar, just less evolved brains, and they cycle through generations MUCH faster, so we can see/predict the effects of things in the "long-term" in us, via previews in mice).
Leads to what this guy is saying.... When your fish can stuff it in it's stomach, are you gonna feed it to it? Cause you obviously have no qualms over choosing animals/ mammals that feel horror and pain equally to us as feed for your fishes. There's nothing nutritionally essential or beneficial to a bloody mouse lmao (I can only imagine it causing some digestive upset, at best).
If you'd taped this happening in the wild, I might've even had no issue watching; part of watching/ knowing nature intimately in it's horror and glory (I've seen it all. Was woken by a human sized Puma [about 6 feet], aka jungle cat, snatching a Toucan out of a Banana tree no more than 30 meters away from me, the screaming was horrific, then the Puma lept into a nearby pond we made, and drowned the poor thing before devouring it somewhere out of sight thank god lmao).... But there's AT LEAST a single something objectively "not right" about this; just cause we can eat shit doesn't mean we should *cough* COVID-19 *cough*.
Bleh. Got this sick feeling in my stomach/ nauseating scent in my nose after this.
I hope I'm somehow entirely wrong/ off base... Somehow there's something I'm not seeing/ understanding behind this that justifies it (fuck rationalization; that's just another symptom of an illness I'm seeing here. Show me science/ objective facts or it's just you rationalizing sick behaviour lol); though I can't come up with a single, even mega abstract thing, that could sadly :/
