chain breakers are the only one I would spend the money on. I have snapped and cracked too many cheap chain breakers that are in that kit, its a very common style, most likely mass produced. I spent the money on a decent one and it still going strong. Granted I don't use it much but it also has a significantly better handle on it, doesn't hurt your hand on those old rusted stuck chain pins.
That black one I was using as a replacement came form a very similar Aldi toolkit. It's almost identical, but it has a has a much better handle, and nice smooth threads in the bolt. I'll see if I can repair the broken one (the bolt is seized inside the barrel).
You're very welcome. If you're just starting out some of the tools can seem a bit mysterious, so I thought it'd be a good idea to show them all in action.

Thanks for this. I got gifted a similar toolkit and am trying to get better at doing my own bicycle repairs.

Great video mate. You’re a natural. Shame you lost some of that footage though! I’ll like and sub to you so it gets pushed by TH-cam!
Thank you! Much appreciated. 😁
I bought a park tool chain breaker cost me £45. pound but it is still going great ten years on and thousands of usages.
I agree, Park Tool is definitely the way to go if your budget will support it.
