Ingredients:
- 1 kg fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or any white fish)
- 5-6 tablespoons oil (mustard oill)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 3-4 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
-1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Sumak powder 1 tsp
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder for gravy and 1/2 tsp for curry
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder for curry and 1/2 tsp for marination
- 2 teaspoon of coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. *Prepare the Fish:*
- Clean and cut the fish fillets into medium-sized pieces. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder., sumak.powder, red chilli powder, sumak powder and lemon Set aside for marination
*Cook the Fish:*
- Add the fish pieces to the pan and gently stir to coat them with the spice mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- in a pan add 4-5 tbsp of oil then fry till golden brown.
2. *Make the Curry Base:*
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- add ginger garlic paste fry 2 to 3 minutes then add onion paste after that add the tomato puree and cook until they soften and the oil starts to separate.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes until the spices are well mixed with the golden brown.
5. *Finish and Serve:*
- Garnish with chopped cilantro.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or with chapati.
