First I hear this indie song called "The Gates" and I'm like WOW! This is a great song, in my top 10 songs of the year. Now you guys follow it up with this gem also. we try to hide the monstrous and grotesque parts of ourself from ourselves and others. we do so by choosing not to see parts of ourself by lying to ourselves in a tragic entanglement of self deception. we are afraid of what we truly our in fear that no one else will accept it. we decieve ourselves and others on many ways. the video is an interesting take on how we try to hide and be loved by portraying a strong and beautiful exterior. in a consumerist capitalist society we attempt to achieve happiness through unfettered consumption and we believe that commercial products whether it be clothes or cosmetic surgery will solve e that. but as the video shows we will never be happy this way. we concern ourselves with the exterior without furnishing our interiors, lie to ourselves and others about who we are and expect to be happy from this at the end of the day but we can't even stand to be alone with ourselves. if that's the case how can you have any fulfilling human relationship of any sort.

I feel lost inside and am scared to be alone . I must figure myself out before I damage any other relationships I have . Whether it be family, friends, or myself . +Savage potato I know and thanks . It's not just any girl , she is the love of my life and my sons mom. It makes it so hard when we should have fought for our family ! I don't know how much fight I have left . Every time I think about letting her go it hurts to much and I break down into a total emotional mess . I've never felt this weak before :( wish I knew what to say or do to make her realize how much I love her !
