@sebastienbecan1824 Salut, c'est la boutique que j'utilise en Australie. www.silverlining.services/?product_cat=geist&s=&post_type=product ..J'ai également acheté des articles sur eBay. Bonne chance. :-)
I'm just about to do a leaking window on my caravan but cant find any info on putting the actual rubber seal in i.e. is it glued stapled or does it just hold itself in. There are loads of videos showing how to install the cover strip
Hi Adam. I went ahead with the attempt just after shooting this video. I have all the footage stored on my pc. I haven't posted yet as my results were less than satisfactory. I used an electric sander and started with 40 grit (yes you read correctly - 40 grit) sand paper to try and get down to the crazing and went up to 1200'ish. Then used my polisher with cream. The windows came up nice and polished with all scratches removed but the crazing remained. Im going to try again this summer. I was petrified id never be able to recover from the coarse paper, but after some effort everything was back to normal so ive got the confidence to try again. If im successful i will post.
@@stephenmoore8960 I was hoping you had found some magic cure. My research doesn't look good. Scratches seem relatively easy to fix, but crazing around handles seems to be caused by a combination of a chemical reaction with heat and stress caused by fittings. Sounds unfixable. Good job on coverstrip by the way I will give that a go
Hi Brian, where are you located mate. We're in Australia and use a shop/website dedicated to Euro imports called.. www.importseasy.com.au/contact-us ..if you're outside of Aus all i can suggest is checking Ebay. Sorry i couldn't be of much help - perhaps other viewers have a suggestion if you can advise country of residence. Good luck. Cheers.
I hear ya Azza. I've got the equipment, just need a bit of spare time and the confidence to sand off down to the crazing. It will be done one day. Cheers.
Great job well documented.
Thanks for posting.
Thankyou for the kind words Barry. Cheers mate.
Thank you Steve
Appreciate that Graham. Cheers mate.

Do you know where I might find the grey strip for a 20 year old Swift caravan?
