Why Sausage is better than Meatballs: Weeknight Hot Italian Sausage with Gravy

I think everyone agrees frozen store bought meatballs suck. But what are your meat alternatives? Well in this video I show you how to make a really quick and really easy weeknight gravy with hot Italian sausage. I guarantee this will taste better than anything you can find in the jar or freezer isle in the store.
Ingredients:
1 pound hot Italian sausage
1 med brown onion finely diced
2 gloves garlic
1 can whole San Marzano Tomatoes
1/8 cup Italian red wine
1 parmesan rind (optional but recommended)
1 stem of basil with leaves
Salt and Pepper to taste
Generous Amount of Olive Oil
