not really, it's riddled with misinfo, he's suggesting you stack way past diminishing returns on reists and defense. HP is king, plenty of theory craft and tester youtube channels have proved this already.
check out some of the math guys that have gone over resistances and def, it's overall much better to stack hp and def and not worry about resistances because they are negligible
@theoriginalgator69 you don't have to give wither of those stats inirder to get the resistances, so you will still be better of with them in my opinion.
You don't have to sacrifice hp or def to get resistances on components, that's just free survivability there. Example of components I use : HP AUX with hp and resist rolls, HP Sensor with Max MP and resist rolls, DEF Memory with DEF and resist rolls and HP processor with resist and whatever roll, didn't get anything of quality that would be paired with resistances, most likely gonna use loot range modifier when I get one.
Yeah, 5k resistance is basically the max you'd ever want and then you're getting tiny amounts of damage reduction. Really isn't worth speccing into right now, farm them ready for a buff by all means but don't focus on it.

No one is getting close to that because the investment isn't worth it for the tiny amounts of resist you get. 0-5k is fair but you get just a few extra % going to 7 hence why I said 5 at most. OR you could just add the immune mods. Those will cover all of your resist needs. They do not make you immune to the damage, but they do mitigate a lot of dmg and stop dots.

Especially with her alt And if you crit with her initial skill hit, then all her dots are also crit And her dots have a chance to crit So you can get a good bit of damage out of a crit build for her especially against bosses with her ult

before watching the video I have 3 HP components and one defense component with a Gold HP mod which grants 833 health. I play bunny so I built as tanky as possible with solid ability attack. I have around 20k health I think with like 10k defense
I’ve been farming these comps for so long and have only gotten double HP drops on purples, which is still better than a single HP on gold, but it’s still annoying
Not a buge fan of not being able to target all 4 components all week that part is so frustrating especially when you just started hard bosses you can only get 2 types per week to farm!

Very true, but they are a huge pain to get if you dont already have good external components to begin with to make farming hard bosses a less time absorbing task, farming them when your struggling just to get a Set with BS rolls on it can be so annoying. but sets are definitely the end game components, that's why I still mentioned them and shown their set buffs.

You can’t blow it only has one resistance possible on it so you’re not resistance to each element because of your Villery power Godzilla power trying to give you one resistance I forget what it is fire maybe gonna give you a different resistance one we’re gonna give you toxic ones, gonna give you cold ones to give you fire and I’m gonna give you electric You can’t pile up. They only come with one flight, but you only need one. You don’t even need specific heat antibodies. You can probably just level up polygenic and resist polygenic added to the resist to get off of whichever component is relevant should be enough I mean seriously we were doing normal bosses that were saying we needed 2000 resist and we had like 150 residents and we were still managing to kill those bossesare in this game maybe you could do better with the higher spec which can get by

It will drop one of the others the reason you’re going is because it has a high chance of dropping The one that you’re looking for so you run it over and over again until you get that God role then you go look at memory on the given week you’re looking at and go farm for the memory component certainly those external components can drive all those everywhere but you get a vastly increased chance to drop if you go to the place and tell shit to go for the difficulty level will come, I think the God role right in that Kingston area last week this past weekend I guess which was with gold resist and gold back HP everything about it is for survivability for hours and hours before I finally got exactly what I wanted. I did the same thing for memory I never got, all gold right? I got that and then doubled and gold but I did not get max HP and I’m sorry resist and gold resist is only purple so I still got some firman to do next time. Memory comes back around.

Bell be useful on every character and those components will be useful on every character. You ones might be like AJ because he has a special affinity with Jill. This does have a gig called build diversity. I mean it does, but there’s really a Mehta to every part of this game. There’s a matter of the automatic weapon like the same modules gone every automatic weapon gone character. The repair wants to figure out how to do well at one character with elemental skills, the same mods or maybe the specific ones like focus on electric versus focus on fire, but it was a fire character on fire electric character focus on electric I mean it’s really a template that’s gonna work on every character

Truth is, you'll be fine with just the resist on your components. The rest of what you said is accurate though.
Just found your videos. Just want to say the Gold mod cards are a % to the resistance and a bonus is they are the same symbol!
