- Sea World Gold Coast Visit & Update! Join us as we visit the park during the April School Holidays, checking out rides, animals, shows, ride wait times, attractions and more! Sea World is a Theme Park / Amusement Park located on the Gold Coast in QLD Australia!
We start the day by having a look around the park, checking out The New Atlantis and its ride: Leviathan, Trident and Vortex! We then head to the great kids area, Nickelodeon Land, and check out the variety of kids rides based on Nick IP such as Spongebob Squarepants, TMNT and Dora the Explorer! We then head to the front of the park to watch the Thunder Lake Stunt Show!
It's then off to the back of the park to check out Roller Coasters like Jet Rescue and Storm Coaster, and also checking out some of the animals like Dolphins and Seals. We then leave the park to check out the Sea World Resort Hotel, and check out its fun Spongebob themed Splash Pad.
We come back to the park watch the fun Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Live Show in Nick Land, and film some off ride footage from Leviathan, as well as checking out more animal attractions like Shark Bay, Ray Reef, Polar Bear Shores, Penguin Encounter and Sea Jellies Illuminated!

Leviathan is already a pretty rough coaster 😢 rode it a couple weeks ago and two laps was all I could stand.
I have to agree unfortunately. I visited Sea World Carnivale during the day before the night event, only to find my favourite ride Jet Rescue closed without any website updates. I lapped Leviathan 5 times as there was no line, and ended up going home before Carnivale after getting major whiplash.
I haven't ridden Levy too much recently, but I didn't find my ride during last Carnivale too rough. It was running two trains though, so we probably got the lesser-used one. Here's hoping they can keep the roughness under control; I've heard bad things about Gravity Group woodies getting unbearable (Mine Blower)

The kids resort play zone is a little bit further along now - down stairs near the gym 😅

Nice to get back to sea world its been a while i love the sealife the sea animals the culture I love it and the queue line in levithan goes firee i love what they did i have no word its too good!! (and the new antlastis area had good theming with them 3 rides!) Nick land has some cool rides (my favourite ride in nick land is the TMNT 1 and the spongebob mini coaster its very fun) and thatss weird that nobody was on at dora caroussel was it clossed that day you went? I wonder what the construction building could be used for? (Do you think thunder lake stunt show is better than hollywood stunt driver at movieworld you opinion?)
Fun fact I never ridedd jet rescue ride before but i really want to its a really great ride (atually feels liek u on a jet in the water LOL) I love storm coaster its a great ride for a great summer day even when it a hot day and that drop I miss the log flume brings so many memoriess and do u remember spongebob 4d being held at an theatre in sea world i remember going to that i think it was in 2019 i went not sure (my memory lol) WILL THE MONORAIL BE OPEN!? I love the Nick Hotel that fountain is great when itss a hot day (i saidd that twice now in this comment 1 for storm coaster and fountain) patrick be like: AAAAAAAAAA! Love the shark bay aquarium and i love the talk that guides do abt them animals Love the tmnt show i see it everytime

Leviathan sure is great, sad we didn't get to ride it. Dora's was open, filmed it during when they were loading it hehe. The new building is likely for doing maintenance on the ride parts and storing things. Thunder River is much better than Hollywood Stunt Driver for sure! I wish it was more like that.
You should try Jet Rescue next time, it's so fun! I do remember Spongebob 3D. I think I only saw it once, but I saw previous shows a few times in the theatre like Pirates 4d - that was a good show! Let's hope the Monorail reopens :D

Teriffic. Love Sea World especially Levy. The park does need a few more thrill rides, at least one more launch multi inversion coaster and maybe a flat ride somewhere! Holding out hope that the Monorail returns in some form... why would they still have the Temporarily closed signs still up everywhere however them attaching things to the track makes me think otherwise. Live action shows with real voices.... whattt!! If only the Movie based theme park could try something like this?!?!
Thanks! Agreed, some new investments like that would really help the park. They really need to make their mind up about the Monorail, or at least make it public if they've already made a decision (which seems likely)
I went about 3 weeks ago and everything was shut until an hour before we left it was ridiculous to see seaworld this way after having passes for about 8 years since I was little
