    That actually makes a lot of sense as to why the humans stood a chance when they rebelled against the isu. Different casts of the isu were already distracted by their internal conflict while all the humans at the time seemed to share the common goal of liberation. Never sounded plausible to me that despite all what we’ve been told about the isu, the humans could just turn on them without losing, regardless of their numbers. Great video👏

    • @collegebro85
      @collegebro85 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Calling it right now, Adam and possibly Eve are Loki’s children, as they perfectly fit the persona of being “the bringer of Ragnarok and death of Odin” as they lead the human revolution to overthrow the ISU and Fenrir/Adam is the one able to not be controlled and kept from killing the High One! As such, Adam was imprisoned as a means to keep that from happening, but it was Eve (as seen from AC2’s Truth video) that was able to free him by the use of an AoE and the rest is history...plus, we now have Desmond and Layla together in the Gray...Adam and Eve’s bloodline and able to be “brought back to life” by Loki, perhaps??

    It seemed like a inside joke until I saw these videos (I didn’t complete the anamolies) but it’s funny how when we first meet Halfdan he tosses his hammer away to kill two Picts and then sticks his hand out and the hammer flies back to him (tossed by someone off screen obviously) but it was a funny nod to him being Thor.

  • @jeremyprinzen5954

    This is actually pretty interesting. I think that perhaps the war between the Aesir and Graeco-Roman Isu could very well be the War of Unification the Isu waged years ago? We have no idea how long they actually lived for (save 100 years at least, since Minerva and Jupiter at least surivived to the end of a hundred years after the Toba Catasrtophe). I think that perhaps the Well of Urdr could very well be the Yggdrasil Vault in Norway since it was being used by the Reader and Layla (who could very well end up being called 'the Author' since she's got a bit more imagination) to attempt to end the incoming node.

    • @AccessAnimus
      @AccessAnimus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I thought it *could* be the War of Unification too, but the timeline doesn't seem to check out.
      The War of Unification took place prior to the year 1923 Isu Era (as per Syndicate) and in the Jotunheim arc we meet Hyrrokin who is actually Juno - who was born in the year 2195 Isu Era.
      So, unless the war lasted almost 300 years (and / or that Odin lived for as many years), it's kind of unlikely that *that* was the War of Unification
      Which is why I did not mention it in the video ^^

    i Interpreted it as "the Jotunarr" were the ISU, they are taller than mankind, Aesir = the humans with ISU blood mixed, and then Vanir = pure human. the ISU keep the humans as slaves as we know the ISU did, and are in a war with the Aesir (as the pieces of Eden had no control over them) which is also why the Aesir see the Vanir as lessers. the Reason Lokis children are hated, is because its a mix of "human/isu blood and pure isu blood" which probably made them a totally new kind of hybrid. Probably way off, but thats how i see it.

    Quick rebuttal: Loki was seen by the Aesir as a Jotun, according to the legend. A bit small, but a Jotun. Wouldn’t that also translate into the Isu myths? A Jotun Isu brought up among the Aesir Isu? That’s a thought experiment I’ll play with.

    Are the Atlantis Isu faction supposed to be the Greco Roman Isu? That's what I'm confused about, how does the events from the Atlantis DLC make sense with the Asgard arc. Can we even trust the simulation in the Atlantis DLC since Alethea has clearly been working with Loki since the events of assassin's Creed oddysey.

    • @AccessAnimus
      @AccessAnimus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is where it gets tricky and it's also one of the reasons why I didn't like Odyssey.
      The Atlantis simulations are handcrafted and curated by Aletheia, with some parts based on her memories, but it's never stated which parts were """real""" and which were deliberately added by Aletheia herself.
      This ambiguity is also referenced by Layla in Valhalla, so I guess she didn't like Odyssey as well...
      In general it's not clear if the Isu shown in the Atlantis simulations are their own factions or not. From the documents it feels like Atlantis was a city and a population of its own, and there's even a file in there that says that at some point there have been some tension between Eden and Atlantis (making the Atlanteans and the Greco-Roman Isu two different factions). Still, we don't know if such documents were part of the genetic memory or of the handcrafted part of the simulations so...
      Plus, of course, you make a very good point in saying that those simulations might have been modified to fit Aletheia's and Loki's purposes, so even less motivations to actually take them into consideration

    • @pendragon3434
      @pendragon3434 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AccessAnimus I actually enjoyed the addition to the lore that the Atlantis DLC brought. But I can't help but feeling that Valhalla is choosing to ignore the events presented by the dlc. That's why I think it's just easier to assume Aletheas simulations are unreliable as historical representations of the Isu time period. But perhaps this will all be tied together in the future. I just find it difficult to comprehend that Aletheas simulation didn't even hint to her situation with Loki. Perhaps another playthrough of the Atlantis DLC will reveal hints to the events detailed in the Asgard arc
