This video is really informative to know how To Turn Dark Chocolate Into Milk Chocolate. From this video I got a lot. Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe.
Tried this but with 85% dark chocolate, other than that it turned out thick for me but it was still yummy and there is a aftertaste of dark chocolate which was surprisingly good even though I dont like dark chocolate. I'll say this is 9.5-10/10
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that you were surprised by the aftertaste of dark chocolate and found it surprisingly good, despite not typically liking it. Personally, I also find it fascinating how different percentages of chocolate can affect the texture and taste of the final product. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the recipe and would rate it highly. Thanks for watching and happy cooking!
excellent video on how to make milk chocolate out of dark chocolate! I learned a lot of things that I have never known before in this video! Thank you for sharing. I'm waiting for the next video
I don't like it. And surprising thing (due to this, many people will think that I'm weird or strange) is that I shortly before ate a whole bar of Záini (75g) 100% cacao dark chocolate in one sitting. I can easily eat whole bar of dark chocolate in one sitting (whenever it is 70%, 85% or 100% cacao), but I can't stand more than two pieces of milk chocolate (since it tastes sugary and like a diabetic madness). I understand, though - it's not for everyone. Many people people find out that dark chocolate is too bitter, but I don't think so. In fact, I love dark chocolate and even 100% cacao dark chocolate is delicious like a blue heaven. Everyone has it's own preference, and most people love milk chocolate (but I don't like it, since it is extremely sweet).
Sure, you can add sugar directly to the chocolate for extra sweetness. Just be aware that granulated sugar might leave a gritty texture, so it is better to use powdered sugar or dissolve the sugar in a bit of milk or cream first. Melt a bar of dark chocolate (preferably 90%) in a double boiler, then stir in 3-4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk. If you want it sweeter, add 1-2 tablespoons of powdered sugar until it is smooth. Optional: mix in a tablespoon of honey for extra flavor. This will give you a delicious, sweet chocolate dipping sauce perfect for fruits, popcorn, or any treat you fancy.
I have an angry toddler who ran out of her favorite milk chocolate and I have no way to get to the store amd I'm broke anyway. Can I add a little whole milk amd powdered sugar instead? Or can I add in a little ice cream instead? I have a bag of dark chocolate chips I just need to figure out how to turn in into milk chocolate for her but I have no sweet condensed milk
It would be tricky as you can only use a little bit of milk; otherwise, the chocolate won't harden, and you end up with chocolate milk. But if you only use a small amount of milk, then the dark chocolate would still be quite strong and not milky enough. :(
@@FoodHow I wish I had seen this comment before attempting it. I didn't over do the milk too much but clearly still roo much because while it did solidify its more of a taffy consistency than chocolate. But it's still edible and delicious. I'll make sure I get a can of sweetened condensed milk to hold on to for just in case next time. I hope you're having a great day and thank you for your reply
I always thought you mix white and dark chocolate to make milk chocolate. White is just cacao butter without real chocolate, and dark chocolate is chocolate without cacao butter, so why not mix them to make milk chocolate?
It makes sense why you might think that, but milk chocolate is actually made by mixing dark chocolate with milk powder or condensed milk, not white chocolate. White chocolate does not have cocoa solids, which is what gives milk and dark chocolate their flavor. Mixing white and dark chocolate would not give you milk chocolate, just a blend of the two.

awesome video, gotta try this out
Freezing this will turn it into chocolate fudge
It sets quite solid in the fridge. If you prefer a more fudgy texture, you can leave it out to settle.
Adding honey is good idea! Thank you!
Great, thanks for sharing this
My pleasure
Hey can I use this in cake for frosting
Hi can you use anything to replace condensed mill with??
You can use evaporated milk on even try heavy cream; it should work.
Will this set up/ harden on whatever you dip in it ?
Yes, it does harden but I suggest to keep it in the fridge or somewhere in a cold place.
Does it solidify again so i can make small chocolate pieces?
It does get solid if you keep it in the fridge for a few hours. Still, unfortunately, it will soften up again at room temperature.
Can we add sugar directly to the chocolate?

Ohh, I am sorry, yes, you need to be quite carful with the milk. I am glad it was still edible :)
Thank God really, I order milk chocolate but they deliver me 72% swiss dark chocolate

I love dark chocolate but i got the 99% one recently, and i honestly hate it
I agree, although I do enjoy dark chocolate myself, the 99% variety is simply too bitter for my taste also :(
Too late lol I added dark and white together lol
And how was the result?
You did not turned dark chocolate into milk chocolate. This is a dark chocolate ganache with condensed milk.
Good point, thank you.
Why the hell would you want to turn dark chocolate into milk chocolate???

Yes, anything over 75% is pretty good.
So why are you even here? 😒
tf? did someone forced you to do it? what was the point of this comment?
I wanted to make milk chocolate not a sugar coma
😅
