In fairness the reduced kill cooldown is a pretty significant buff, you don't need more than that. Just a couple of kills and you can beat most other killers to the punch, add more and you can start tearing through people.

I was hoping it would work this way here too, like starting to ignore medic shields and veteran alerts, becoming able to vent or even doing splash damage (as an alternative to ToS "rampage"). I do hope they add other ToS roles into the game too. I would love to see werewolf, pestilence, jailor, pirate and escort. Necromancer would be cool too, gaining abilities of the dead for a single round.

You can think "interesting" but you can't make it too complicated, you have to preserve some kind of balance with these things (for example we don't see bomber in these videos anymore, the one time it showed up it was seriously crazy). You hand out abilities like being able to ignore medic shields, and that role might seem cool, but it's also making other people's roles irrelevant which kinda sucks. It's not that complicated, when you think about the core dynamic of the game, what different roles do to shift the balance and how that makes the game more interesting. The more you add to it, the more chaotic it becomes, the more you disturb this dynamic. It's otherwise a quite simple game that does not have many mechanics, so anything you change or introduce has to enable the existing gameplay somehow. It'd be easy to make roles that you would think would be cool but are just too dominant and have too much of an advantage. Let's take the Werewolf idea, right, it could be cool to have a werewolf but what does that mean in this situation? Clearly it's a killer role, but you have to decide what makes it work. Maybe you fudge the full moon thing and decide you 'become' a werewolf when the lights are off. But you can't make these roles obviously identifiable, you can't make them faster, you can't just give the game away that easily. The werewolf has to do something interesting and thematic which isn't overpowered, ineffective, or too risky and prone to failure. So you try to nail your Werewolf rules down: Maybe you can only kill with the lights off, which limits you a bit. Okay, so you decide the werewolf also consumes bodies they kill. But then crew can't report bodies which is suddenly a lot more powerful especially when you can only act with the lights off, your targets disappear with no indication that they've not just walked off. So to make it harder for the werewolf to mulch the entire crew unseen, you make them two separate actions, and you've actually managed to make a more limited Janitor with no allies. You can say "wouldn't it be cool if" but when you start putting the pieces together, you realise there are a lot of ways to make a role a bad addition the the game, but if you have enough of an idea, you add elements, you change things, you tweak cooldowns and effects until you come up with something that works well enough. And I think Juggernaut works well as it is: As you get more kills you're more powerful because your cooldown drops, but the more your kill cooldown drops, the more reckless you might be with it.
Every time I see Ze and Reeny in the same lobby, I'm reminded of that epic Imposter/Jackal Lovers game where they murdered like 5 people and camped the bodies in the center of the map. Good stuff as always, Ze!

that first game it was certainly not lovers. If 3 are left, with 2 of them as lovers, the lovers would vote together and Ze would have been dead. The only exception i can think of is if one of the lovers is executioner with their partner as the target, but that makes no sense. No, with a 3 second cooldown to the task phase, the first blatant kill reduced the cooldown to 0, so he could lunge immediately and kill the other. Even looking at the votes is telling. Ze skipped, so either junk voted "with ze" against the one crying wolf (likely as executioner) and the accuser voted for the accused, or the accuser was telling the truth about their vote and threw the game by voting themselves while junk tried to vote to win.
I even waited past the outro, through the darkness, to the end cards!! A little extra blank space at the end, but I didn't pay attention since I was listening while I worked.
My first juggernaut game was very similar to yours. I was sussed all game, I eventually won, and I was shaking by the end of it. I didn't get as many kills as you and I didn't kill every one I got sussed for

Hi. It seems you have some overheat problem with your camera. Is your camera have some settings to put a higher temperature before shutting down because of overheat ? not every camera has it, but maybe your camera yes.
To be fair, when Ozza got murdered by Casper (or whatever happened there) in Med Bay, I had to rewind and read the name again because I too thought it was Ari, and I would've put money on the fact that I READ HER NAME. Apparently I was just hallucinating like Ze. Lmao.
I kinda wish that the creator of this mod would use the abilities for Town of Salem roles more, because whilst the jugg does get stronger with every kill it feels more like the serial killer from Traitors in Salem which doesn't get a lower cooldown from killing but it does have the ability to double kill shortly after killing someone. Unstoppable-Ex: Jugg in ToS gets "Unstoppable Attack" (anything that would protect your target won't stop you from killing them) after a couple kills, so maybe ToU jugg can kill people with a shield on them . Rampage-Ex: in ToS the second kill a jugg gets gives them the ability to rampage (attack anyone who visits your target) so maybe jugg in ToU can rampage the vents killing anyone who is currently using them.
The first idea is entirely too niche. It requires a medic to be in the game, and even then it only enables you to kill exactly one person. The second one is a lottery of killing 0 people or killing like 4 people with the press of a button, it's too inconsistent and too strong. The games aren't 1:1 gameplay, so the abilities being 1:1 doesn't work every time. The juggernaut killing faster and faster is a pretty fair translation of the idea of what a rampage is.

In this update, there’s no assassin. Just a feature of the impostor roles. We set it to one assassin, so it’s one or the other, but neither are called Assassin anymore.

I kinda wish that the creator of this mod would use the abilities for Town of Salem roles more, because whilst the jugg does get stronger with every kill it feels more like the serial killer from Traitors in Salem which doesn't get a lower cooldown from killing but it does have the ability to double kill shortly after killing someone.
Unstoppable-Ex: Jugg in ToS gets "Unstoppable Attack" (anything that would protect your target won't stop you from killing them) after a couple kills, so maybe ToU jugg can kill people with a shield on them .
Rampage-Ex: in ToS the second kill a jugg gets gives them the ability to rampage (attack anyone who visits your target) so maybe jugg in ToU can rampage the vents killing anyone who is currently using them.
The first idea is entirely too niche. It requires a medic to be in the game, and even then it only enables you to kill exactly one person. The second one is a lottery of killing 0 people or killing like 4 people with the press of a button, it's too inconsistent and too strong.
The games aren't 1:1 gameplay, so the abilities being 1:1 doesn't work every time. The juggernaut killing faster and faster is a pretty fair translation of the idea of what a rampage is.
@@CiaphasKirby tbf it's that feeling of secureness turned into horror that makes town of salem (and other social deduction games) so fun[example below], also I never said they had to remove the lower kill cooldown, they can still have it and have a one time use rampage ability since it's a nuetral role and doesn't have a team.
Also, the whole thing where you said that there has to be a medic in the game doesn't really matter since it could just be a passive ability incase there is a medic, since in Town of Salem there also is a chance for there to be no "healers"
Ex. In Town of salem a GA can save you from death, so you think you're safe knowing your GA will protect you tonight only to out of nowhere die because you were haunted by a jest, one of the only things that can kill you when your GA protects you.

It's a setting now that the hosts can choose. These lobbies prefer the Exe becoming Amnesiac so that there aren't too many Jesters in play.

In the newest update, I think any imposter roles get to assassinate. Assassin, itself, is removed.

They play with assassin as a modifier, and only one of the imposters can get it.

In this update, there’s no assassin. Just a feature of the impostor roles. We set it to one assassin, so it’s one or the other, but neither are called Assassin anymore.

@@SpectreSarah if I recall correctly. One of the mods they have played in the past has guesser as a modifier. Seeing as bait was a modifier in this and not a role on it's own.
