He makes Kratos believe he's the bad guy, and the worst part of his manipulation? There's grains of truth to it. Kratos is a monster who did monstrous things and nothing can change that, no matter how much he changes.
I never understand why Odin said Kratos never had anyone pray and worship him. He was the God of War. We saw how devoted the Last Spartan was in Ghost of Sparta and God of War 2. Seems confusing to me.
That’s not worship or prayer by the ideal of a God, that’s just them worshipping his intense violence. Kratos never cared for such a position, and only searched for vengeance. In the end, he killed them all anyway and didn’t give a damn about them. How would he acknowledge their prayers?
@@popopop984 he didn't kill the Spartans ,Zeus did an Kratos was actually pretty upset about it which was one of the reason why he wanted to kill Zeus next time play the games with your eyes open
@@tyborbat In the 2nd game he avoids Sparta destruction travelling back in time but he destroyed Greece in his entirety killing almost everyone, it´s said in gow ragnarok several times and shown in 3, maybe you should play them with your eyes open instead.
@@juniorld6141 well yeah blind rage does that, doesn't negate the fact it's just another reason why kratos wanted to kill Zeus. The scene where he does it even shows kratos looking on in distress (as he has a big ass sword through his chest lmao)

This is why Odin is such a great manipulator. He constantly tries to lecture Kratos to remind him of his failures.

You assume he's telling the truth. He's actually manipulating the truth.
